Was at Pasta Zamai at 1U today, when paying bill asked them any CC got discount, they said no, so I gave them my Amex Charged Card and she said got 15% which is actually the cash back program.

Q at Sushi Zamai and Canton -i (which also accept Amex) damn long but not Pasta Zamai.

Also used my AMEX Gold CC at MPH, bill RM339, got RM20 (4 x RM5 vouchers), got 15% cash rebate, can get points for MPH member card and can get points for One Card.

Maybankard promo at 1U, spend RM200 get Christmas gift which is just a small table mat and free parking (if you take ticket but I used One card so did not get the free parking). Also got a free music box for spending above RM300 at One Card Service Counter + 2 calendars

do you mean that you purchased JJ voucher with your AMEX and then use the vouchers to pay for stuffs at JJ?

Eh...how come so soon? Amex Gold cc was just introduced in mid 2009.

I called them before, they said my Amex Gold anniversary month follow my existing MBB card, this is why I cant escape from being changed the stupid tax until sept... I receive and started use Amex gold since last year sept... not even reach 1 year...

if you do not have existing card with mbb/amex and they charge you before anniversary, you may call bank/bnm to complaint.

When is the exact anniversary date shown on your Amex Gold cc? If it is Jan or Feb (although you received the card in August), you can't argue with them.

Btw, the anniversary date shown on my card is August.

Hi all, just to share my experience using AMEX for the past 1 and a half year. wat i can say is amex is superb!!!
total cash back after shopping last year is almost RM700. This is due to 15% cash back last time.

besides, most of petrol station and big groceries made my point 5x with rm1 spend.

mmg terbaek. xsaba to wait the new offer cash back most probably by christmas.
