A7: Yes, the 15% Cash Back is in additional to the generic TreatsPoints or Membership Rewards points and over & above discount/savings offered by Participating Merchants.
Q8: What is the maximum Cash Rebate that I am eligible for?
A8: The Cash Back is capped at RM150.00 per Customer (Principal Cardmember only) per tracking month, and subject to a maximum payout of RM4,000,00.00 during the campaign period, whichever is earlier, and based on first come, first served basis.
Q9: How will my cashback be tracked?
A9: Each month during the Campaign period is hereby known as (“Tracking Month”) will be as follows:-
• Month 1 : From 1 November – 30 November 2009 (both dates are inclusive)
• Month 2 : From 1 December – 31 December 2009 (both dates are inclusive)
• Month 3 : From 1 January – 31 January 2010 (both dates are inclusive)

A10:The Cash Back will be credited into the card account 4 – 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month

A11: The Cash Back will be credited to the American Express Card account of the highest product Category, 4 – 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month.

A12: As the cashback process is automated, we are unable to credit it to a card of your choice. It will be credited to your highest category account 4 – 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month.
Q13: Can Supplementary Cardmembers enjoy the 15% Cash Back as well?
A13: Yes, Supplementary Card spending are entitled to the 15% cashback and it will be aggregated with Principle Card and credited into Principal Card account of the highest category account 4 – 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month.
Q14: Do Supplementary Cardmembers share the same cap for the Cash Back?
A14: Yes, principle and supplementary cards share the maximum capped of RM150 Cash Back per tracking month
Q15: How do I verify which of my transactions are eligible for the Cash Back?
A15: As all transactions will be automated via system, we are unable to confirm it via telephone. However, as long as the transactions are made at merchants that accept American Express Card at the Selected Malls, you will stand a chance to receive the Cash Back. Please note that the maximum payout is RM4,000,000 during the campaign period, on first come, first served basis.
Q16: If I use the American Express Gold Credit Card at Cold Storage at IKANO Power Center, am I eligible for the Cash Back and the 5x Membership Rewards Points?
A16: You will be eligible for the 5X Membership Rewards points, however, please note that the Cash Back is not applicable for transactions made at supermarkets/hypermarkets which are located in the selected malls, for example: Cold Storage, Jusco Supermarket, Carrefour, Giant, Mercato De Market Place, Village Grocer and Isetan Supermarket.
Q17: What about transactions made at bookstores like MPH or Borders?
A17:Transactions made at bookstores located within the selected malls are eligible to receive the Cash Back and also the 5X Membership Rewards points if charged to the American Express Gold Credit Card.
Q18: What about transactions made at the Departmental Stores?
A18: Yes, all transactions made at department stores located at the selected malls are eligible to receive the Cash Back, for example: Isetan, Jusco Departmental Store, Metrojaya, Parkson and Tangs.
Q19: Why the 15% Cash Back promotion is only applicable to selected malls located at Klang Valley and not nationwide?
A19: The Cashback campaign is only applicable at selected malls. American Express continues to have nationwide promotions such as "Spend and Get Rewards", where you have the opportunity to win a Longines Watch or Delsey Cabin Case and will continue to have more of such promotion in the future.
