What is "Fake RCA L10"? Meaning someone imitate RCA L10? RCA is nothing good and yet some company still imitate it?

Also, Egreat Player just out after the China holidays & the HD300A only out on the 16th Oct so that's why it's not included. I don't believed in "Vapor" ware but I do sell them!

Good topic... i like the idea of sharing Media Player based on the Chipset Used in general n not the Player Brand, price, looks, functionality and playback capabilities.

FR for the HD300A is already out because apart from the casing, even the firmware is same as the HD300D. That's why I decided to do a bulk on it without testing a physical unit.

sigma 8635 can soft decode rmvb. but performance quite poor. (576p only and low bitrate )

so why they put a expensive chip into a lower cost SD player?

without rmvb , can't survive in china.

Only non branded OEM Wifi Dongles have this chipset & you might get stuck in custom. Sirim approval will cost you a bomb & lot's of hassle. On top of that maximum only can stream 720p so you figure it out!

Xtreamer still comes with free usb wifi.

Consider a "Homeplug" solution instead of WiFi connectivity if your humble abode's electrical circuit is single phased

we just need one LAN (network)cable to switch between Amp, BDplayer and multimedia players.

as most of our AV amp and BD players are not wi-fi equiped for downloading Firmware, most of the time, it will be hooked on the the media player

so Homeplug.... is the way to go for now

that depends on the models as some will stream to 200mps, but think our existing gadgets doesn't need that type of speed yet...

but dun have any BD lite menu so main movie file playback is really just guessing type.... and most of the complex BDs can't play properly jerking.. but so ancient thing with 300MHz Sigma designs chip also can load BD-ISO.. kheng hor..

My Egreat 34H? I don't have any lah? You mean yours? You should try the realtek based unit, even the most complex BDISO also pass with flying colors. So far only Transformers have problem with the audio. Main english audio cannot decode so you have to watch in Spanish or some other language!

cos it only can decode the track that comes with the video file, the other audio files are in other files.. ability to read BD-iso doesn't mean ability to decode blu-ray movies correctly.. that's why still need C-200 and gang..

All audio & subtitles also can read, just cannot decode Dolby TrueHD. I double check the audio format in PC. DTS-HD & MA only can downmix to stereo.

is the TrueHD in the m2ts file also? (if check from PC) usually the M2TS only contain one HD track right?
