Does it really matter whether it is branded or not? As long as it works and ppl think the device suits the need with right price tag, ppl will go for it.
Media player is an fast moving technology, from my very first rmvb player till now BD iso format, I have owned 5-6 devices. Different ppl has different need. There is nothing wrong for YangXi to sell it cheap with less warranty; if ppl think the price is right they will go for it. Of course, there are ppl would like to pay more for longer warranty then they will go to Lowyat plaza for that. Each business has its own niche to survive. My point is everyone has its own way to do business, especially during this E era. My 2 cents. |

QUOTE(rstusa @ Aug 23 2010, 10:27 AM) When talking this kind of media player, normally ppl will download those movies on internet illegally, any other way to use these devices legally? Either you buy those movies from others or dl them personally are all illegal. Even though you might have the original DVD/BD to rip into mkv or BD iso, it is legal when you keep them to yourself only for backup purpose and not to share with others. So to answer your question, other than you watch your media file that backup from your original media, or some movie clips that you take on wedding, birthday parties via your phone/digicam etc, there is no way you can use it legally... My 2 cents. |
