Can you pls help......I downloaded full-version Bluray movies (file sizes about 47gb and above) and played with HDpro+ using external Toaster. Error message: I/O device error. If I connect HDD internally, no problem playing these full-version bluray files.

which model is that? bitstream the full 7.1 audio instead of the core 5.1?
i do have the older 1073DD player that only sends the core audio.

My realtek R1055 based player can bitstream DTS-HDMA and Dolby TrueHD. So, just look for player that's based on R1055 or newer chipset such as R1185, R1186

1073DD+ , 1283DD+ , 1055, 1185 latest chipset can support 7.1 audio passthru (truehd,dtsma)

Realtek RTD1005 (replace old RTD1055)


1005 chipset built in back SATA controller. because the old 1055 don't have.
core SDK same with RTD1185.

not cheap.. because is usb3.0 enclosure type.

i am waiting for 3D 1186 player as well......too lazy to swap disc....wanted to copy all my 3D BD disc to hard disk ....

试用了几天，才敢写这篇评测，生怕没把HD900B的机能吃透就盲目的评测误导大家，现在来谈谈优缺点吧。
优点：
1.强大的3D播放功能，支持全部3D格式，而且3种导航播放方式可以吃透市面上99%的原盘。
2.强大的在线视频功能，这个绝对是所有品牌中的NO.1
3.100%的兼容性，我评过程中没有遇到任何一个不能播放的，或播放卡顿有问题的视频，音频格式。
4.蓝光原盘外挂字幕功能。
5.机身设计漂亮抢眼。
6.丰富的接口，涵盖各种输出，各种硬盘接入方式。
7.机器运行稳定，很少出现播放中黑屏，死机，跳文件等事情，这个稳定性很重要。
缺点：
1.蓝光原盘菜单的支持率不高，这跟1.0导航有关
2.文件浏览使用预览方式时，不建议直接预览出视频文件，只预览出文件夹的封面图片就好了。
3.当目录里有cover.jpg和back.jpg封面和封底两张图时，会默认把back.jpg识别成封面，希望海美迪解决一下这个小问题，让文件预览时自动识别文件夹内的cover为封面。
4.还需继续测试来寻找第4个缺点......[COLOR=red]

Realtek can support rmvb upto 1080p.
China chipset also can. (amlogic,sochip n6 or boxchip f10).
