Yes, you are right. This is one of the reason. As like me, work in 10year+ with change more then 4 to 5 company already.
But make sure you work in every company >1 year lah...... to gain/ learn something from there.
Me almost change job every +/- 2 year. Current job is the record as already work more then 2.5 years. The shorter job is half year. icon_rolleyes.gif
Somethime I do envy ppl with higher pay but I also feel that with my current salary other ppl do envy me.........so cant compare to other. As long as we enough eat n spend and this should enough....dont request too much. rclxms.gif

I read this somewhere in newspaper before:

"Enthusiast about your works will excel your career and commitment to your company will bring you doom."

you must love your job or profession in order to perform, but if you are too naive and treat company as your 2nd home, then you may end up with a termination letter once they no longer need you.

business is business. life time employment is rare unless you dont mind to be exploit by those cunning employer

depends on your post...i'm a junior motion graphic artist...and i'm getting 1.3k...fresh grad, still under probation... cry.gif

anyways, the design industry is heavily based on your experience...can range from 2k+ till 6k+...fine arts will be a bit hard...i guess the easiest way to earn big cash is to become your own boss...

like what the others said, change company when you got a better offer and chance...for now, i'm learning whatever i can learn from the seniors in my office...

not all employer are as bad as what you think.
the statement is just not so right.

if we are good at what we do and there's nothing wrong being committed to a company as long as the company still has job for us.

if the company is changing direction and we can see that it no longer fits us, feel free to go anyway.
