agreed with toda6866
with a mere experience of 1yr+, how much you expect to get?
imo, rm2,500 for a newbie under probation is not bad at all. afterall you will get further increment upon confirmation.

QUOTE(NaiveLady @ Jan 19 2007, 07:34 PM) Location in KL or PJ. Any industry Junior Purchasing Exec with less than 5yrs experience = RM 1,800 ~ RM 2,500 (With diploma or degree) Senior Purchasing Exec with 5yrs ~ 20yrs experience = RM 2,500 ~ RM 4,500 Once you start your career as a purchasing, it is advisable to stick on to the same industry as the remuneration is depend on your bargaining skill, relationship with supplier and number of contact for the industry. Most purchasing i saw nowsaday is mostly lady and very often they squeeze me till the last drop...( in term of pricing and delivery )

fresh system engineer refer to those with those with experience ranging from 1yr~5yr
it should read as:
1yr~1.6k 2yrs~1.7k 3yrs~1.8k and etc
again, the data is pluck from jobstreet. some savvy job seeker may get more than that.

very detail description you are underpaid if you were in KL,Penang,JB but for Kedah, i believe you will still do well with RM1.8k as the living cost there is very much cheaper. i.e, to buy a terrace house with 4rooms in KL will cost you 380k~420k. whereas in Kedah i believe it will cost less than 150k. you might secure a job with a salary 2.5k++ in KL but yet your net disposable income still less than what you having in Kedah.
