QUOTE(chamelion @ Mar 22 2007, 10:55 AM) aiyo, quit low la for some1 with 16 years exp. Serious question, how much should a project manager with 16 years of experience be making? RM20k? RM35k? RM50k? If you check the jobstreet salary survey, RM16k base salary for ~15-20 years experience is already on the high side.

MD for a small company is not the same as Account Manager (REgional) even he/she just a MANAGER.. but the resposibility is much more high. exp count.. luck and cable oso

Yes, the rate is constant if you work right. if there is no or poor grow rate that's mean you lost the focus already in career building. Constant 15% annual income grow is the minimum. This should include bonus.

What happens to your 15% minimum when your business didn't grow or didn't make a profit last year? If you're the boss would you take a pay cut to reward employees that are demanding for their 15%? What happens if at the end of the year, you demand the 15% raise and don't get it. Do you quit and go elsewhere? Is there room for loyalty, personal growth, work-life balance? I have more questions but it'll have to come later, I have a 15% raise to negotiate with my boss.

i think 15% is too much..
in certain sector.. there is a salary range according to your grade... let say 20 time ur increament.. ur already at maximum salary for ur grade.
and sometimes .. u also might have salary adjustment

How you justify you worth that 15% is depend how work too. If you do worth that 15% and your boss do not increase your pay, what balance is that? But sometime say your boss do invest in you like attending training etc, those should be consider as increment too. it's visi versa.
