just called Maxis. Report to em that Orange is useless and unreliable. Done. Orange called back in 5 minutes.

Result : Still no phone

Conclusion : Anger management

yes, RM200 deposit for confirmation, and Ma**$ not held any responsibilities for any shortage of stock, extended waiting period is not notice to me, but some how, some location, ppl just can get it on the spot by signed up the contract plan, and be frankly there is few person around me get the iPhone on the spot at the mentioned location, i cant do so because my RM200 cannot be refundable from the MEP i placed order which i had spoken to particular customer service, wat i can do?

if your news is accurate about the roadshow going to held with stock ready on the spot, then i really dont understand why i had paid deposit still cannot get my iPhone after more than 5 weeks waiting, i placed order on 14 OCT 2009.

yes, it got right to decide, i got no right to claim for FAIR TRADE, even with deposit paid for 5 weeks. I should receive different treatment as customer that paid deposit compare to those able to jump in the mentioned location on good timing to get the iPhone on the spot. I'm just unlucky lar. Who else have the same unlucky exp, cant really guess the number VS the available stock number that already finish distributed out on mentioned location.

Yeah, customer service from Ma**$ called, i was busy being "BROTHER" for my best friend wedding ceremony on saturday 21 Nov 2009, she called me around 1pm, so i asked her call back at 3pm. About 3:15 pm, she called again, this time, i was driving back home. So i asked she call back after this, and suggested by her around 4pm she will call me again.

About 4:15 pm, get the called from HER, discussed the issue raised in the email referred, said understand my frustration and explain to me the Pavilion case was just a small allocation of stock for MIFA event. Well i just repeat again with wat i had written in email, my perception on this case was simply enough, i'm feeling dissatisfy for treated unfairly with the distribution policy & sales strategy executed.

Well, she convince me will help me check thru this issue with the marketing team, and she will get back to me on monday, which is today, because that day was saturday and others were off duty. Then that's it, we end the call. Until now i get nothing, may be later, see how.

And no reply from other party regarding my email.

I would like to say something among the rantings here. You guys do know that you actually have proper recourse, right? If at all you feel strongly that you are not treated fairly, take your case to the proper authorities. In that way, at least you get the satisfaction of knowing something will be done instead of harbouring the thought that your complaints will fall on deaf ears or you will be given lip service.

Please don't ask me who, where and how. If you really want to see justice, do some homework, approach the correct parties and take the correct course of action.

If you don't want to bother, just live with the wait and the so-called unfair treatment.

AGREED.. go do some homework bring case to the proper authorities at least u will get a better answer from them rather then wait for nothing.

partially agrees....

but ranting is good to alert other potential customer regarding their service...i'm thinking of booking iphone for rm200..but now i'll wait to see the situation...anyway we're here to share our experiences.....& of course if wont satisfy to any issues we must report to the relevant authorities...

I got called around 7:15 pm yesterday, 23 Nov, i think is a call from MEP to notify my iPhone is ready to pick on Thursday.
Then after half an hour i got call from Ma**$, is HER, who called me on Sat, telling me my iPhone is ready and can be pick up TOMORROW, which is today, 24 Nov. Ok, we end call.
Few mins later, she called back and confirm i can get it on today, 24 Nov, ok of cource i accept it, sooner the better, it's about 40 days over. Then continue the conversation was i start to complain about the unfair trade or treatment made to me or anyone else with same exp, she explained had mentioned this issue to the marketing team and they will take this issue into consideration for future strategy, and thanks for my comment and hope i can keep it up to help them improve their service. Ok then, end call.

ok she claim my case with the reported complain was prioritize, i choose to believe, which arrangement had been made, somehow i just still feel unfair.

Congrats bro, at least you got your phone. that's all that matters. Whether they really take your complain issue seriously for future matters, that's out of our boundaries and for us (who haven't receive the phone yet) to find out. The most important thing is that you made your complain and they took it seriously, although there were hiccups on the way. Congrats on your new-born. haha

Just made a call to Maxis the CS said they are clearing the batch for last month booking so it would take about 1 month to get ur phones . If got any left they will call you and ask you to pick it up

I did not say ranting is not good and neither did I say it is. What I am saying is take it up the right track by referring to the right authorities.

Experience sharing is informative and that's exactly the reason for forums like this.

Well, the authorities you approached are simply not the right ones. If you are really that pissed off and want justice done, go and see the consumer tribunal......that's who I mean! And good luck to you.

Guys, there's no right or wrong here. he has his opinion about ranting and you have yours. as far as i can see, both are right. as for who want to complain to where, it's their business. if he decided to complain to maxis centre alone and not to other authorities, we can advice other alternatives, it's their choice. As far as this thread is concerned, i believe that their feed backs are more important, rather than arguing with each other about it. haha so cheers mates, we hope to get our iphones soon so that we can share further experiences with each other. For those who already received theirs, congrats and dun forget to share further. for those who haven't, well... join the gang and cry together. haha
