THANK GOD... hahaha.

well, why arent the lcd infront of u less useful? i mean, all u have to do is, move ur head backwards, u see all info on the lcd, rather then tilt ur head backward and turn ur camera 90degree (or lower it) to see the lcdpanel... that make u unable to ANTICIPANT good shot for event, candid, tracks. tongue.gif seriously, think bout it. summore our sony battery life span is long. tongue.gif just my 2 cent, maybe people just love the lcdpanel on top. biggrin.gif

I read that the front LCD is coated (IIRC) to minimize reflection/glare... hence supposedly better visibility under sunlight... is that true? better than older alphas? any confirmation or comments on this?

for PnS, around 200+ shots is normal (including on/off, occasional flash, photo preview, scrolling, deleting). for SLRs, it would be around 700-800 shots.

The lens comes with a pouch too, and the quality is pretty good!

The only complaint now is that the rubber grips for zooming and focusing are very easy to get dirty... sad.gif sad.gif

I paid full RRP from Sonystyle... all shops in Kuching will quote you full RRP and need to order so I might as well buy from Sonystyle online. Shashinki a bit cheaper but the 10x treatpoints for Maybank card is too hard to refuse. biggrin.gif

Yeah it's pretty long with the lens hood. You buy a 300mm of course will zoom for that range loh. biggrin.gif
