actually, why not wait for A550? 14mp, 7fps, LiveView(the one missing in A700), Better ISO and DRO (compare to A700)... price? cheaper then A700
I like how Sony implement the LiveView thing. Other camera makers implementation lag like tortoise compared to Sony's QuickLiveView bunny speed Photogs who use LiveView should try Sony's QuickLiveView and feel what they are missing
Sony's QLV for me is an excellent additional tool alpha camera. Overhead shots like the ones below pose problematic (although not impossible) without the LV as a viewing tool.
(shot using my LG Cookie with my hphone held up high over my head selepas sembahyang sunat Eidil Fitri 2009)

Wish I was in KL... hmm... too far for me... to learn tips and tricks from fellow alpanian, you can always join TT (Teh Tarik/Tech Talk) Sessions... you can learn alot from others... ask Mo0... he always know when's the next TT session... hehehe
I go out jalan jalan this afternoon to test some shot.. I find these 2 "contrasting" signages.. n decided try to Focus on the signage to see if it works.... Turns out i think both of the r OOF...Shooting at higher F of course no problem since everything is sharp..

The photos r without crop.. shooting using Spot focusing Iso 100, F 2.8 -3.5, Shutter speed 1/100 n above. I wish to get all experience sifus .. under this kind of condition.. is focusing on the signage (of that size) difficult for the camera? is it my problem i shouldnt even thinking of shooting using F2.8 since it will not work like tat anyway...Im trying to prove is it my shooting problem or d lens problem.. i hvnt got an answer yet
your tammy still giving focus problem clive? the signage is sooo out of focus have you tried manual focusing?

"Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that the photographer may find interesting.
It is usually a communal activity organised by camera clubs, online forums or commercial organisations. It is often done as a method to practice and improve one's own photography skills rather than a with specific focus on documentary photography."

I guess photowalking does not confine to Street Photography... but outdoors, jungletracking, zoos or even indoors as in visiting any offices, shops etc... as long as its done during the walking session with a group of people
As I know... SONY SLR camera come with Image Stabiliser ... so you can use any lens ... correct me if i am wrong ...
theoretically yes... any A mount lens will have the SSS (SuperSteadyShot) available also Sony Alpha all have the in-body motor... so whether the lens has inbuild motor or not, AF should work
