Guys, I'm planning to get the 8GB memory stick pro duo MK2 from Sony since I got RM60 voucher. Currently I'm using the normal pro duo with CF adapter... so is this MK2 card as fast as the CF Ultra 3? Please help, thanks.

QUOTE(Wonka @ Oct 4 2009, 10:45 PM) Hi, nice color... may I know what type of software and setting you use?QUOTE(hkhk @ Oct 4 2009, 10:46 PM) normally CF card would be faster than Memory stick. Oh... so I think I better use the voucher for other things... Sandisk CF Ultra 3= 200x ~ 20MBps, much faster than MSPD 2 (15Mbps) note the MBps n Mbps . Unless u got the HG version ~ 15MBps. can use the SONY Image Data Converter bundled in your CD. U can download the latest online. Or u can use Rawtherapee or Google Picasa. All I mention here is free. This post has been edited by hezda: Oct 5 2009, 12:05 AM |

Woot.... no sample photo yet but let me present the 70300G...
The SSM is really really silent and I can hardly hear the focus at all. ![]() The G Cap... ![]() Sexy G... ![]() The lens comes with a pouch too, and the quality is pretty good! ![]() The only complaint now is that the rubber grips for zooming and focusing are very easy to get dirty... QUOTE(ieR @ Oct 9 2009, 11:51 PM) QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 9 2009, 11:53 PM) Thanks!QUOTE(Banzai_san @ Oct 10 2009, 12:00 AM) I paid full RRP from Sonystyle... all shops in Kuching will quote you full RRP and need to order so I might as well buy from Sonystyle online. Shashinki a bit cheaper but the 10x treatpoints for Maybank card is too hard to refuse. QUOTE(luminarist @ Oct 10 2009, 12:21 AM) Yeah it's pretty long with the lens hood. You buy a 300mm of course will zoom for that range loh. |

Yeah... aperture affect the amount of light that hits the sensor. f1.8 is indeed too wide for daylight.

Tested my new lens... needed a whole new set of technique for shooting... the shake is a bit hard to control.
All pics look awful so I'm not posting anything... |

Btw... talking about filter. I've read that even a good filter could degrade your picture quality. Is it true?
