What is the different between buying at Sony shop and street shop?

Am i able to convert the warranty at street shop ?

mainly is the pricing bro...might as well get at street shop like in bukit bintang or sg wang....warranty wise is all the same....

because sonystyle = sony malaysia = principal.u cant expect them to give u discount.if they can give u discount,how others reseller can survive?

Sonystyle does offer discount in a different manner. They give the buyer back sony points and these sony points (1 point = 1 ringgit iinm) can be used as a deduction on the next purchase. Having said that, the discount isn't as much if one goes bargain hunting with the smaller shops.

sonystyle will just squeeze every drop of $$$ u have in ur wallet....
rather have big discount on the spot... the sony points will only entice u to lose more money to them... hahaha

for purchase like camera body, i prefer getting from sony retail's. pay using maybankcards for 12 month installment,(sonycard can go up to 24 months!!!!and additional +1year extended warranty!!!!)

but watchout, some retailer sells demo units, as sony dont provide demo unit, they themself have to open one unit out for user to molest molest...

for lens, i get from supplier, *unfilled warranty + a little cheaper(not as cheap as KL), no catch.

sorry was a typo, unfilled... not as cheap as YL or zaloon la... but i dont mind paying a little extra for unfilled. summore i am from sarawak hahaha harder to get sony goods...
