Look, this is what i mean
PM function exist for a reason... yawn.gif

Anw, one of my H. Hottentotta finally molted to adulthood @7i yesterday, but she is only 5cm when the adult size shld be 8cm sad.gif
I guess it's because i kept them in very small deli container till they reach 6i
Interesting, i ll wait and see if she will pop or will molt to 8i in future, would be interesting experiment to study their size variation being kept in different size container

PS: The other that i kept in a larger container before it molt to 6i turns out bigger than the one that molted to 6i in the small container

Ryo. Don't trouble yourself with listing out the abbreviations. Lebih senang kalau postings are listed out in the manner they are done everywhere else. These names can be confusing because of the fact that multiple species having the same initials. I.e. - PV can mean Parabuthus villosus/ Pandinus viatoris etc. It may be a trivial thing touch on, but it is important. A change is necessary. And Lester agrees to it. I just hope that this is not a losing battle I'm fighting.

Lester. I am sorry if my posts hurt you. I wish things can be better and we'll talk soon. And your pictures are becoming better. Love the whites.

Ya ryo , personally i think it is also a trivial thing touch on the listing of the abbreviations, but it juz my suggestion on my part .. i understand your good will and will fully support you if you decided to go ahead with. rclxms.gif As for myself , you don't have to worried too much abt me rafiqos LOL brows.gif , i will do part my part as of what i agreed and mentioned in the earlier posting. so consider your battle won . wink.gif

And yes before i forget ......... rafiqos ... don't worry about your posts hurting me . well ... frankly they don't .. not abit.. why in the world would you thinks they hurts me ????.. LOL. ... Dun worry too much and concent - rate on ur wedding ...LOL... lots of things to do wor ....... .... and yes ... we will have a chance to speak and talk when i am in KL for shopping trips .. thumbup.gif hmm pictures ah ... pics could be better .. still figuring out the DSLR ......... headache but have to thanks alot for andrew for giving much good information and tech on usage on it ...... thanks andrew ... smile.gif

When you find some time - download this and read. It discusses a lot of the basics in photography. And burn hours tinkering with the new toy. Nothing beats a selftaught musician Lester.

the the a.australlis is sold to an old timer in this hobby i got to know some time back ... we become friends and learned much from him ... in fact i believe he screened me and my sp before commited to get from me lol ... and as for the screening for other spieces like the recently Parabuthus Transvaalicus scoprion.. i got quite a few nice but funny answer ... for example i rem one very long session with a person we all know . we. covered almost everything from handling , Parabuthus Transvaalicus 's back ground to what to d if tagged etc and he got most of them all wrong ......... but then again my leg was what he was pulling .... well ... bottom line ... at least i know he know the pro and cons of what he is getting ....

hope i answer ur question smile.gif

No worry, kuwy biggrin.gif
Take good care of them pls, they ll give u babies real soon tongue.gif

Anw, imo screening a person solely base on their answer to ur question is kinda... Unreliable
Anyone smart enough could just google for information and copy and paste to u
Anyone can answer all the question u asked, just a click away from his/her mouse
But at least u put some effort to screen ur buyer tongue.gif

btw i forget to add on something ... normally after that i will do some background check with my peers followed by a chat online to see the attitude if right before commiting on the deal .for new buyer ..hmmm to be frank not much experience on this from me as i hardly sell and the scorpions mostly goes to ..hmmm the peers ... lol ... aiaya .. u guys knwo who u are ... lol ....

anyway ... i think maybe the more experience people who have been selling can explained more on this and serve as a basic for others to earn too ...

Though Liocheles Australasiae are often found in a group in the wild but they always end up with cannibalising if u kept communally in captive, i dunno why lol
It's a vice choice to separate them, how hot is ur room?
Imo the warmer, the better, as long as not too hot lol

Added on April 12, 2010, 11:09 pmU might wanna read this article bout Liocheles, written by our proud local hobbyist who is very experienced with them biggrin.gif

This morning during my regular misting session found this. It's a 6 instar emperor scorpion which I got from Rafiq since 4th instar. What baffles me is the cause of death as it molted to 6th instar more than 2 weeks ago and was eating right. It was even seen roaming around at 2am but at 6 am the whole body was mutilated by a group of ants which normally appear when there is dead cricket. Any idea anyone on the cause???? cry.gif It was housed individually so death by tankmate is impossible, however there is a small cricket in the tank but was not at the scene of the crime.

My condolence, at 1st glance it looks like it died from cricket bites and the remain eaten by those ants but as u said, he molted more than 2weeks ago so it doesn't sound right...
I honestly can't tell the reason of it's death, but it looks like it died from cricket bite cause the exo still looks very soft imo

Yeah I thought it's funny too as the cricket I put in is small size one and the emperor has been eating for the past few alternate days without problem, even if the cricket comes for a bite which i doubt it'll definitely turn it away or eat it. That's why I'm still confused?

It's also possible that ur emp died from other reason and those ants came to finish it up when u found it
Things bout keeping scorp is, whenever u have a one died on u, u wont know their exact cause of death sad.gif
Anw, as precaution, i never leave any live food in my inverts enclosure, if they din eat i ll either kill it and leave it or take it out, just to be safe
