Am quite surprised that the price difference between 767 and 667 is so little. Would it be more worth it to get 767 compared to 667?

Huh? Isn't the RX-V2095 an even older model? It doesn't even have HDMI inputs.

Sorry, my colleague already booked my RX-V1900. :-)

Ah. I get what u mean. The 2065 doesn't "look" as nice/expensive as the 1900/3900.

When I purchased my 1900 I believed 2065 was just released but I went with 1900 because I didn't like how the 2065 looked. It didn't matter how it sounded. biggrin.gif

On my end, i based my decision on net radio and usb. I've usb drive filled with FLAC files. Also 1 extra HDMI. I totally agree 2065 does not look as expansive as 1900.

Try to disconnect all the speaker wires connected to the amplifier and try to turn on again.
Without the wire connecting and it's still cut-off then you have to send to service centre. smile.gif

Since there is no problem after you changed the power cord, I guess it is the defective cord. If problem still persists, it could be the avr in protection mode due to overload or there is a short internally.

1 more question:
If amp got problem but still under warranty. We should contact the shop or Yamaha ?

If is Yamaha, they will come to collect ur amp and replace a new one or they bring back to factory and then u need to wait ?

Hi there, I m new to LYN.

Just bought the 767 for rm2200. Yr price of rm2100 is the best i ve seen so far. Decided 767 over 667 becos price diff is minimal and u get some extra juice and features. The Onkyo 608 was priced slighty higher but I prefered the look of the yammy happy.gif Still in the process of running in and also setting up the avr. Currently running a 5.1 setup but will be adding 2 extra presence speakers soon. thumbup.gif

Could you let me know where you bought it too? I'm interested to get a 767 also. Thanks.
