Do u guys use YPAO(not sure is it the correct name) function in Yamaha AVR ?

May i know what is that for ?

Manual setup as in setting for speaker distance ?

Yamaha DSP for what ? i found out when i play Blu-ray the Cinema DSP logo doesn't come out also.

lets say we play downloaded movie (normally will be stereo ) that dont have DTS or DD function.
Then we use the amp setting for surround is that ok?

Morning guys

Last night i try to switch on my volume to -26DB with 7 channel.
My Yamaha 467 suddenly turn off automaticaly. After that, re-on back and same thing happen. Repeated for few times.

After that i change my power socket.Problem cured.

Izzit not enough power ? i keep on and off the AMP. Heart so pain.
Will it dmg my amp ? omg...

If amp got problem but still under warranty. We should contact the shop or Yamaha ?

If is Yamaha,they will come to collect ur amp and replace a new one or they bring back to factory and then u need to wait ?

Guys may i know Yamaha 467 can make it to 7.1 ? or just 5.1

Few days back my amp keep auto power off when i blast the volume til very high. You guys know what is that problem? Especially when i switch to 7.1 mode.

Darn worry will it dmg my amp for keep restarting ?

3. Speaker cable positive and negative touching. (check behind your amplifier and also behind the speaker)

I think is this problem. Coz i dint use any Banana plug. Will it dmg my speaker ?

Why dont ask them come to ur house to for set up ?

actually is my own mistake.. on top of my amp i have a DVD player. in between amp and player. there was a F-ing screw. When i move the Dvd player. it scrach my AMP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys. What is the latest price for Yamaha RX-V467 ?

currenly usisng Yamaha 467 amp. If lets say i plug in Pa speaker. Will it produce nice bass even withoud active subwoofer?
