Guys may i know Yamaha 467 can make it to 7.1 ? or just 5.1

i think cannot...but let the expert do the talk

Just bought the 467.
1st simple task encountered problem.
Connect the bd player to 467 via hdmi.
Then 467 to ledtv via hdmi.
Howver, no signal detected at tv. Whats wrong?

what brand of BD player ?

what brand of TV ?

Few days back my amp keep auto power off when i blast the volume til very high. You guys know what is that problem? Especially when i switch to 7.1 mode.

Darn worry will it dmg my amp for keep restarting ?

1. Overload
2. Speaker driver having problem (Tweeter or bass driver)
3. Speaker cable positive and negative touching. (check behind your amplifier and also behind the speaker)

I think is this problem. Coz i dint use any Banana plug. Will it dmg my speaker ?

it can support 7.1ch by connecting additional external stereo amp to the preout .

I tried with my media Player Eaget M6 also no signal.

Previously when both BD and Media player direct to LED TV, no problem.

I trusted HTLowyat so never test. Now maybe need to carry the amp back and test with their TV and bring the media player along.

how bout changing the inputs in Amplifier, sorry , if you also have tried this

I called desaht lowyat and asked to bring it back to test with my media player. If cannot, one to one exchange til can.
So before i do this, Last chance, i connect direct my media player direct to tv without thru 467 like before and changed video setting from 720p to 1080p 60hz. No signal still, went to washroom. When i m back, the signal is received.

The next test is the bd player. Guess i will have to change the setting of the bd player and hope luck will be with me.

I also got my 467 from Desa HT Kepong Branch. I cash & carry and setup myself. Took me a while to figure out the proper setup; without the help of LYN members here, i would still be in the dark over some setting.

How much u bought ur 467 ? just got it only?

Last November. RM 14xx .

if u yamaha amp front plastic "calar" dy still can repair ?
Like change plastic cover?

Coz i very sad when i look at the calar everytime
