hi all,
waja First generation Proton Waja with 4G18P Engine
and waja 1.8x which 1 perform better??
if i want to buy which one should i buy??

actually there is waja with ABS and airbag.. i don't know the years but Waja 4G18 1.6X a.k.a Waja Premium hav airbags on the passenger side and on the steering including leather finish interior.. but not so sure it includes ABS.. and i think Waja 4G18 1.6EV have the same features.. but the ABS + airbags ver. is apparently made for export purposes.. and most likely the performance wise is a bit difference and this version also includes autoflip side mirror with heater.. and its known as Proton Impian there..

That's water from aircon. Could be due to frozen or sensor failure to cut off the aircon. Get it repair immediately or u may face ECU failure.

b48753 thought u did change the TB for ur car.. its evo TB as i remember.. izzit PnP or there wiring and other need to mod to fit?
4G18 is a good engine.. but maybe underpowered coz its for normal usage and not performance.. but i'm on planing to do blueprint and fitting performance cam..

TB with manifold porting. i did porting 1st then change TB, with grounding..
I think better do blueprint n pnp 1st..i don't recommend perfomance cam..later your engien 'lemau'..

1.6X has the ABS/air-bag. It's gray colour. nice steering wheel too.

unfortunately (other) people are saying the abs got issue, and they seldom got the abs disabled on the waja premium for less headache.

How is the effect of your Osram Cool Blue Hyper White bulb? Is it much much more brighter than ori bulb? So Waja use h1, but 1 seller told me h4

Mine is 1.6X premium.. Got Airbag on the driver side and ABS.. Auto flip side mirror and got aircond level auto,1,2,3 function instead of normal 1,2,3,4 level function..

Unless you change it to HID else I dont think it's a good idea to change your light bulb to those so called white/bluish bulb as it's not as bright as HID and the temperature around 4300k is barely visible in the rain.

You should screw the seller for the information. Waja headlamp uses H1 and Fog lamp uses H3.
Better get Osram Night Breaker or Philips Crystal Vision for your headlamp since it's brighter than the original bulbs thus much better visibility in the rain. Cheaper option wise , go Brothers and ask them for the GE Megalight , it should be around sixty bucks.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Cuz i was planning to get a yr2003 Waja 1.6 4G18.. And when i went over to car dealers, i got various diff answers which confuses me as all along i tot Waja has ABS n a driver airbag.

So if i want to get a Waja with ABS n airbag, the 1.6X (premium) in yr2003 only got it right ? How do i differential the normal 1.6 and 1.6X ? All seems the same to me ... If got ABS or airbag the meter will show when i start the car ?

Oh and another questions is, does waja 2003 comes in dark colours such as black and etc? The dealer told me all 2003Waja 1.6 dont have dark colours... i guess they only make me confuse onli haha .. hope Waja-rians can help out..thanks a million !

Ok guys, about the VS, I had done quite a lot of research & now I decided go for high quality imitation one. I will go for imitation Pivot Megaraizin vs-m with 5 point grounding HKS cable on RM130. Anyone want to follow me or still prefer to get an ori 1? Decision is on your own.

Reason for my decision:
1. Ori product price is high cos of the "Fame" & cost of their "R&D"
2. Imitation product with good finishing won't have much problem cos :
a)Good quality finishing to avoid short circuit.
b)All brand of condenser or electronic parts has no big different.

So what I found out, I rather to get an imitation 1 than ori 1. Some more imitation product of this simple voltage stabilizer won't have much different or may better than ori 1 cos the spec of electronic parts is the same by different brand or maybe higher spec due to their low cost production (copycat). You can try google it how simple of VS diagram as easy as DIY (u can DIY too). Hope this will help.
