how to know la, i was the only car there when i reached there in the morning.dunno who park next to me. the only clue is that that damn car might be a blue car, as there's trace of bluish paint on the dented area.  vmad.gif  mad.gif

QUOTE(mosh @ Oct 12 2009, 07:46 PM)
bros..

im helping my bro to choose an auto 2nd hand car. between a Black Gen2 and black/burgundy? color waja. both of the car is yr 04 and have almost the same value plus minus somewhere between 30k +++

driving wise 50% city 50% hgway.
which u recon for FC wise ? as i have a minimal experience driving those two cars..

i recon to him the black gen2 cuz looks sporty,suit his age & gud handling but dunno if there any reason that he shud choose a waja over gen2 ?

i've posted this too inside gen2 thread.. its just like, as am older brother, i felt like i need to advise him and i dun want my bro to gamble on 2nd hand car. yet, i have minimal experience in driving waja or gen2.  he is 24, get wedd next year, and purchasing new car is still expensive..  its better to get decent 1.6 2nd hand four door than entry level saga with the same market price..
*
for me,i will advicing him on the technical part rather than other thing...buying 2ndhand car need lots of attention..the condition of the car..resale value..maintenance,things u need to do once u get the car and everything..the practicality of the car/ proposed of usage n etc...did he own a car b4?humm..

i got 1 tips...every car got manual book...from there u can trace the previous owner...at the manual book/service book,it will hv information such as the service record and old owner contact number..simple,from there u can get the number n try to call them..from my experience the previous owner will tell u anything about his ex-car....let say u oledi choose between tht 2 car..try to check the history of the car...from the owner..but remember..sumetimes the seller/used car will keep the service book...the honest seller will let u to check the car background...easier...

for cps of coz...mine is auto too...

i can answer ur doubts there....

original we have a 2" inner diameter piping.2.2" for outer..which is for 1.6cc car..is big.even civic 2.0 doesnt require 2"

usually those under power bcoz they din change the full set...hotbitz is 1.8" diameter frm extrator out..if connected to 2" piping...with original bullet...and aftermaket exhaust system...of coz mismatch......yes.u feel different during lower end rev..but high end rev..is faster.....u can try my car..i dun mind let u test if u1...b4 u install it...but mine car is heavy la...dynamat+ICE+17"+etc...hahahhah

i got a problem with my fuel pump, actually its not the problem of fuel pump itself but the wiring, temporarily using direct connection, with the original wiring went kaput, based on mechanic suggestion, he suggest me to change the whole one set of fuel pump... do i really need to change it? any suggestion?

Added on October 12, 2009, 11:08 pmbtw, using waja EV, 2004, mitsu

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Oct 13 2009, 08:49 AM)
Just wanted you to know that for Waja, the relation between the gauge needle and the actual fuel remaining inside the tank  are:

4/4 (F) -> 100%
3/4 ->50%
2/4 ->25%
1/4->10%

p/s: its not linear.
*
^^agreed on spiroth statistic laugh.gif

how many waja user here had changed they cd player? After change the cd player, can it still able to control the volume using the steering?
*
u cant..

QUOTE(jackyleo009 @ Oct 13 2009, 11:09 PM)
LoL... Waja auto can clock below 3k rpm @ 125km/h??? My manual waja can't get that figure, 125km/h at least over 3k for sure. Between, I could merely hear some noise from my tyre... Inside the cabinet when running.. Sound like something else turning except for tyre... My vibration never fixed after I do balancing for my wheel. And the car seems like going left or right sometimes... Especially when braking, it will goes either left or right depend on the car "mood"... Problem mentioned above not serious... Actually , wheel balancing already helped much in reducing the vibration of the steering. Maybe i should say it this way, Reduce from 80% vibration to 20% vibration. Solution from all senior members here?
*
really?basically with tht speed is 3.3k rpm

QUOTE(nayte @ Oct 13 2009, 11:14 PM)
maybe time to change engine mounting... as for the brakes.. im not too sure. i think auto cars tend to run at lower rpms because they only have 4 gears.. so the difference in gear ratios are higher. correct me if im wrong  notworthy.gif

guys i'd like to ask.. when using iridium spark plugs, what effects will it give to the car compared to normal ones? it costs around 180 right?
*
feel more lively...but for a moment...hehe... hmm.gif

QUOTE(jackyleo009 @ Oct 13 2009, 11:31 PM)
Engine mounting changed lol... Erm, is it possible that the problem arrise is caused by the bearing of the car?
*
can be engine mounting...
bearing?wheel bearing?if wheel bearing it will be soo noisy... doh.gif

My brother was following me home yesterday.

He is driving his Peugeot 308. I am in my 03' 4G18 Auto Waja. both fully stock.

Acceleration from standstill-80kmh he was right behind - but after 100kmh I started pulling away slightly but he caught up again.. performance wise I think the 308 will win hands down as he was not driving as hard.

But when it came to highspeed corner, the 308 being a heavier car and softer suspension has lots of problem keeping up, especially if there are irregularity on the road. Slow tight corners, there are no difference.

All in all, I can confidently say that the Waja has the best handling in its price range:) (note i didnt say category or segment! though Im sure it would be one of the better handling cars in its segment too)

just my sharing:)
*
im totally agree wif u..
i cannot accept ppl talk bad about waja...ppl tht never own 1..but talk like they use it b4... doh.gif

so, how much does this gsr lips cost? material?

normal gsr fiber for old waja non cps bumper cost around RM80 to RM150 w/o paint...PU wif no paint around RM 150> no paint..
here u go another 1 example..
