QUOTE(jackyleo009 @ Sep 21 2009, 01:11 AM) ur advise taken and will drive to nearest tyre shop to check about it. change power steering oil can fix the "Sheeee" problem? i dont think refilling/replacing can remove the sound..... its just a part of waja identity... old waja have... old campro have.. new waja cps also have... nice charactheristic.... kehkehekeh Added on September 21, 2009, 12:27 pm QUOTE(jackyleo009 @ Sep 20 2009, 02:46 PM) Help me troubleshoot something... 4g18p... waja... crankshaft not good already make the pulley shaking... erm... my foreman said that would easily cost over 1k to repair... haizzz...no money so don't care... another problem is my steering seems to shake when I am driving over 110km/h. Did anybody have any idea about this problem? And my car steering giving some "shhhhhhhheeeeeee" sound when turning while in stop condition means the car no moving... And if I turn, the steering feel like it wanna turn back to middle by itself... is it normal? crankshaft => leave to reliable mechanic...shaking steering => do balancing at tyre shop => make sure rim not dented streering sheeee sound => normal steering turn back to middle => understeer if not mistaken.... guys... how to detect our absorber out of order/kong???? QUOTE(matt wee @ Oct 15 2009, 07:33 PM) Hi all waja owner there, does anyone here face the same problem with me after change to metal window assembly? my question???after changed to metal one...i found out many sound come out la even at low rpm to high rpm and all the time i driving my car..can hear some metal hit metal sound...any way to solve this problem? And How to remove original waja rear speaker? do u replacing it by urself or shop?... if u know how to install by urself than u need to check the movement part especialy window area... oh the other thing i forgot but im sure many facing this after replacing ori to metal type.. there are small column that use at door opening mechanicsm.. u cant hear this during old type because the old one cover it... and the sound too deem but due metal type got a lot of expose area,, u can hear it clearly... its not easy to solve it but what i do (succeded), uninstall all window mechanism than u can check door opening mechanism... try move that collumn by ur hand and u will see that collum can move freely.. even can hit ur car door body.. thats the sound come from.. then find any tape to cover that metal/collumn then u go.... its still hit the wall but due u use tape, the tape will absorb the pressure n noise produce so low... hope u understand what i try to explain here... if got pic i can show but i just repair my power window due window holder bend and no pic taken.. sorry guys.. p/s : it takes me a couple of month to notice the source of problem... QUOTE(yngwie @ Nov 21 2009, 12:01 PM) agree with lucifah, have you check the spare tyre / jack? maybe the screw that holding it loose or something, how comfort that fuji shock absorber?thus causing the sound.... else, how about fuel tank bracket? 42k mileage is not the lower arm problem.... btw, guys, adjustable suspension is stiffer than the standard / oem suspension setup, no matter how soft you adjust it. mines, sustec, tanabe, kayaba...bla....bla.... almost feel the same. thats why i settled for the stone hard tein adjustable. 130km/h in karak highway also 'mou fan yeng'... btw, my waja is currently used by my sister, so, i took out the tein adjustable and bought a set of stock a-fuji shock absorber from imperialrealcs in garage sale. very comfy ride compare with stock? im still confuse, waja cps abs and normal waja not use same abs???? |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Nov 28 2009, 07:22 PM) how old is your car? a friend of mine flushed the auto tranny of his waja sometimes ago. mileage around 120,xxxkm. 1st few weeks was fine until suddenly the gear refuse to change. turn out during the flushing, the old seal inside the tranny was affected... thats why it's not really advisable to do gearbox flushing on a car of more than 100,xxxkm... if can't do flushing... so what to do..btw, once the fuel warning light turn on, it's still good for 60km or more. driving under 90km/h. tested once. but not gonna risk my fuel pump further just replace with new oil? |

QUOTE(gavinfernando @ Dec 1 2009, 11:54 PM) hi, my girlfriend has a waja and she open the APM without telling me. So, the liquid came out. It was not a lot and was a bit. And I told her to check the coolant. I am scared that the coolant is empty. If it is empty, the the car might overheat. I think she open the cap when the car is not completely cold. So, I want to ask, where is the coolant located? Its the old waja, not the campro type. She will need to buy new coolant and refuel rite, if its empty. Water can last a while only. If use for long time, future will have problem, and instead, might get rust. So, I want to know: u r not familiar with proton car or with car.. a) Where is the coolant b) How much does it cost And anyone experience this before? I am sorry, cox i am really not familiar with Proton cars. So, please help... Thankx i think u talk about radiator which most car have same feature... for coolant... u can pour it at radiator itself or the radiator reservoir (normally like white bottle plastic)... there are level that u must add (at white bottle plastic) so radiator always have enough water + coolant.. |

QUOTE(kalvinwee @ Jan 12 2010, 04:29 PM) WTA, any idea on how much original proton engine mounting cost? any fake proton in market with proton logo? TQ QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Jan 12 2010, 05:06 PM) QUOTE(yngwie @ Jan 12 2010, 05:07 PM) they are quite a number of fake engine mounting in the market. which is quite hard to differentiate from proton's. go to reliable workshop. Just change my engine mounting last week...cost should be around 380 bucks = 4 side of engine mounting + labour charge. or around 80 bucks each if you prefer to buy em separately. im asking the good one (mounting)... but not sure its good or not... as no proton logo with it.. the effect... engine sound heard smoother... check pic below... thats my bills... ![]() This post has been edited by wch5274: Jan 13 2010, 07:50 PM |
