You might want to directly ask Celcom/Maxis/DiGi is you wanted to know about data plan & rates. I believe that's the best way to educate ourself about those things.
naTTan,
I removed (according to Paul's features list):
1. Jbed Java
2. Notes app from Dragon
3. android-wifi-tether 1.60 pre3
4. Andrew Schwimmer's WiFi Status indicator
All HTC default apps are intact. I might go another round and replace Peep with TwitterRide. Mostly because Peep's bland interface and icon.
Edit: OK I removed Peep completely by adb shell rm /system/app/*Twit* as suggested by Paul.
Update: OK this maybe just a placebo. I feel my Hero is faster without Peep and its widget. And I saw this

guess what, i did call them before i post here.
but they themselves also cant let me know clearly.
thus, im asking any user here have this experience.
that's the most worried thing with celcom is their staff that working in both blue cube and celcom are really not in standard.

I went to ask the Digi Broadband Unlimited plan rm 48 a month.. + rm 30 postpaid voicecall.. rm 78 a month.. sounds much much cheaper than celcom/maxis right..
guess i'll go for it.. hope the connection is good.. Now just trying to look for Hero.. hope can join u guys soon.
i check with both digi and celcom,
Digi offer digi50 plan and HTC phone is onli HTC touch dual for 699 ori price is 1099
no other data plan needed.
for celcom,
they have alot of HTC phone with blue cube.
including hero for 1799.
but need to sign the contract for exec 50 + data plan for 98.
the worst thing is the data plan(braodband).
i ask celcom but they are not telling clearly.
might need to call blue cube and check whether can exclude the data plan and still get the phone for promotion price or not.
