You might want to directly ask Celcom/Maxis/DiGi is you wanted to know about data plan & rates. I believe that's the best way to educate ourself about those things.
naTTan,
I removed (according to Paul's features list):
1. Jbed Java
2. Notes app from Dragon
3. android-wifi-tether 1.60 pre3
4. Andrew Schwimmer's WiFi Status indicator
All HTC default apps are intact. I might go another round and replace Peep with TwitterRide. Mostly because Peep's bland interface and icon.
Edit: OK I removed Peep completely by adb shell rm /system/app/*Twit* as suggested by Paul.
Update: OK this maybe just a placebo. I feel my Hero is faster without Peep and its widget. And I saw this

That seems about right,
I have removed,
HTC Stock.apk
Android Stock.apk
HTC PC Sync.apk
Peep and Peep Widget apk
Andrew Schwimmers Wifi.apk
Teeter.apk (since i have the full labyrinth)
Haven't remove Jbed and Notes and since i am using tether, won't be removing that. What does Jbed do?
I was wondering if it was possible to remove the launcher.apk since we have rosie running on top.
In regards to the Celcom/Maxis/Digi discussion.
Digi is offering great prices, but 3G connection is limited someone right? Unless you are planning on light usage then i guess this is the way to go.
Celcom has great coverage, and for some time i was thinking of jumping over, but since i am a Maxis user i rather stay on this telco.
Maxis data packages has several variety for data, and rather then limiting the speed like Celcom, you get 3G speed with all packages with different badwidth cap.

The only biggest drawback is Maxis is an ass for not having any Android phones.
