Sorry I donno which one should I state..so i put everything... I have the update.. but when restart. i get into the nandroid (i think)... where i can choose to reboot, & do recovery on my previous backup thing....Should i uninstall the "Recovery Flasher?"

I have not been rooting my phone for many months that I forgotten the actual process..

even though i reset my phone i still got error to update, it said "E:No signature (220 files), verification fail), why is that?

help!

No you cant, unless u flash a custom ROM which supports Apps2SD.

On the other hand, Android 2.2 supports apps2sd OFFICIALLY

I actually can live with MBs of apps storage since only a handful of apps are axtually good and original..mostly are repetition and useless and pretty laggy on hero since majority are meant for Desire

bored with only install app in phone memory -____- always show phone memory low low low .... keep uninstall n install apps... bored bored bored... so far the stock 2.1 still work fine GPS also work fine tested papago M7 + google navigation beta

try doing a factory reset...based on feedback from the last few postings...it works fine on a default rom...

make sure your build number have a word "release-keys" at the end of it then only can received update. if stated "test-keys" (jz like my previous one), you will nv received it.

Just switched from MCR r5 to VillainROM 12.0.0. Everything feels faster now, except the lock screen.

Hi Hero users, want to ask something regarding the 2.1 update, does it comes with FriendStream? The reason is because there's two custom ROM that I can use for my Magic, one is Hero and one is Legend, the Hero one is very fast but without FriendStream! The Legend one has FriendStream but its quite laggy =.=

Official update has no FriendStream. VillainROM has though.

hi I just got my HERO yesterday and learned that there was an update fropm 1.5 to 2.1...all I have to do is change the date to august and wait for the notification...I tried but it doesnt work...can anyone help plz? im pretty new to android

Are you connected to the internet via WiFi or Mobile network?
Try changing the date, disconnecting, and reconnecting again.
