using AmonRA recovery image,done partition inrecovery, but not apps2sd,flashed villian romm 12.0 last nite....

i accidently use 1gb for it so i lost 1gb space from my 8GB class4 sdcard...can be revert back to normal...n redo it in 512mb？

any guide using the recovery to do partition available?

1) Backup all your FAT32 content to your PC
2) Go into recovery and redo the partitions
3) Restore the FAT32 stuff to SD

You can also use Parted to resize the partition through ADB. But I'm not sure whether the Parted on the Amon-RA's recovery has that resize command.

if cannot resize then do this

1) Backup all your FAT32 content to your PC
<<Format SD card>>>
2) Go into recovery and redo the partitions
3) Restore the FAT32 stuff to SD

When you choose 'Partition SD' in Amon-RA, it will format the SD card.

Yup, you must use kernel that support overclocking. take VillainRom 12 as example.

Im using when off screen 300+ min and max, when on screen 691 min and max

yeah, i'm using VillainRom12.

will overclocking mess up the phone?

Press and hold textbox where u want to key in sms or any textbox in browser (example google search textbox). U will be prompt a input method. Select HTC_CIME instead of touch input..

it will give you boot loop if you set a frequency that's too high for your phone to handle.

Most hero works fine with 691+ frequency.

I don't think VillainROM 12 comes with HTC_CIME since it's based on the European 2.1 ROM. So it won't appear as an input method.

Using Villain 12 now for awhile, TERRIBLE BATTERY LIFE!

This is because you didn't calibrate your battery. My Villain 12 can last me 2 days without a problem.

Do this, off your phone. Charge it to Green light and let it on green light for another 15 to 30 minutes. Boot into recovery, wipe battery status.

Then use it until the phone no battery, boot it into recovery again and wipe battery status. Hope this helps

OC settings? Mine would last 2 days if I don't fiddle with it much. But today i noticed something. I unplug my phone morning 5:30 as usual and check on battery at 4-6pm afternoon. When using stock or MCR, battery sure show 100%, but using Villain, Its 98%. I know its insignificant, but i can feel the difference. Its like the phone is draining battery on standby mode @_@. Could be Villain OC kernal I'm waiting and waiting for MCR OC Kernel lol~

lol. this is random, but is it me or the volume control button on the side design is rather 'weird' , hard to press with one hand. especially with capdase on.

and oh,

so now i'm using a 1gb microSD but i want yo upgrade to a 8gb class 6 one.

but i use VillainRom 12 and all my apps are basically in the 1gb card, what are the steps to change to a new card with all the current apps still the same?

Wan to ask.. when u have the Android 2.1 updated... it will restart ur phone.. then what will happened? it will just restart.. n update already?

If your phone is rooted or has a custom recovery image like AmonRa, you cannot get the OTA 2.1 update. Unless you revert back to unrooted ROM and original recovery image.

I thought if the there is Auto Update then it can install...

I think i have the AmonRa... to revert back to the original recovery image... how to do that? is RESET to FACTORY stage reverting back to original in this case?
