is there really much difference between these two?

yeah..im virgin..i mean my phone..

i only install flash recovery software so far to update my radio rom but never rooted. i guess i need to delete the update.zip file in my SD card and see it work or not..

i tried the 2.1 modaco taiwan 2.1 rom but got problem with messages...cant use the message application both stock and handcent...dono wats wrong...

BTW just realize after I updated the firmware the market is work !!! Thinking of use bk 1.5 bcoz of PAPAGO .... I know PAPAGO M6 supported 2.1 but Malaysia map support ? Any 1 using M6/7 ??

legend is much better you can check by its specs .. much faster ..

I'm using the MoDaCo rooted Taiwan ROM. Not the MCR WIP r4/r5 one. The Messages application works fine with me. Did you do a full wipe before flashing the ROM? I did.

There will probably be a 2.2 official update for Legend. Legend already comes with 2.1 by default. I don't know if the Hero sets they sell now are automatically using 2.1, but by default Hero came with 1.5. I suggest going for Legend.
