since papago doesnt support 1.6 and above currently, which modaco rom does it support? does it support modaco 3.0?

You may want to educate yourself by reading about MCR at http://is.gd/5zME3. MCR is based on 1.5, so any you can use your Papago on any version of it.

i'm so happy when found out that htc sync is still intact, can use windows contacts now

but i couldn't find modaco 3.0c, so i used levi's previous instruction, using 2.73 rom, but jst happy got market

few weeks ago tried the flashrec, it won't backup, got error message...now can, so weird man..

now my android market still only got free apps, it's same as before...i need market enabler?

Oh no. I messed up my contact ever since I backup my contact using mybackup pro. N the Google sync creating duplicates for every of my contacts. So I try delete them manually through my phone. After deleting all the duplicates, I get the error ' too many deleted contacts' and ask me wanna continue or cancel . So I select continue. This morning I relise many of my contacts are gone. Even those not duplicated. I have to recover my contacts from mybackup again. But once I on my internet again all my contacts will lost again following the gmail contacts. Can any one teach me best solution to clear up this mess ?

Can I tell Google to sync contact base on my hero device just for once ?

clivengu, before you delete all the duplicates, you should try this way,

in people, hit menu > view and select google only. unchecked others.

i think all the duplicates will dissappear from view.

for me, i back up my contacts in outlook. then i export the contacts to .csv file and import it in google. then for everytime i flash new roms, i just sync with google. i never save any contacts in my phone.

Thats wat i Did when i first sync my phone with my contacts for the first time.... & every of my contacts now is in Google acc. Then when the next time i learn to flash new roms.. i did this mistake by Backup my contacts in Mybackup....

So it duplicates the the GOOGLE contacts.... 2x Google contacts for each person.

After I selected all the individual duplicated contacts... n delete.. they were deleted from my phone.. but when it wanted to sync.. it comes the error

"There are 206 deleted items for contacts, account xxx@gmail.com What would you like to do?"

a. Delete the items
b. Undo the deletes.
c. Do nothing for now.

so i select Delete the items. but the errors keep coming up with everytime... the number of contacts reduced...lets say 205,, then d next time 202...

Then only yesterday i start realising that.. it doesnt delete the DUPLICATES..it DELETE BOTH d same CONTACT as well...

Luckily i still have the the Mybackup File... n able to restore the contacts... But The sync error remains.. My contact will still slowly gone somehow.. confusing confusing...

Please help.. any1 knows this kind of error?

Do you mean now if you go to Google Contacts on your pc, your contacts are all not there?

When I migrated from Symbian, I have this duplicated problem also, what I did is following this->

I do all the merging and deleting on the PC, since I don't know how to merge contacts on the phone, then I just sync it once and all's good.

YES.. some of my contacts are fully gone.. So i have to rely now on my backup contacts with the MYBACKUP (last month).... but d backup will Delete all the existing contacts in my Hero.. So after the backup... when it tries to sync the "too many deleted contacts" error will appear..

guys, i jst found out that i have a problem after i rooted my Hero, i can't seem to access the maxis 3g network anymore, i can't download mms even if i turn on the 'mobile network' option

what should i do? do i need to manually set it? i need the 3g occasionally..thanks for reading

ps : i'm under Modaco 2.73 custom rom

Try to go menu>setting>wireless controls>mobile network settings>Access Point Name. Check whether you already set the APN.

nope, the apn screen just blank screen, and if i want roaming should i tick the 'data roaming' option?

edit: but when i press menu, there is a option to add apn, lol, the phone is not hang
