a lot were expecting the non-chi quota to be opened up.. perhaps gov would do so after announcing a higher than expected dividend to get more ppl to purchase

QUOTE(joeaverage @ Jul 30 2010, 08:02 AM) i reckon the posts would get more interesting after AS1M makes its first dividend announcement come end of Sept.. Quite disappointed that the quota was not opened up. Still presence a quota in AS1M (like everything else)...... maybe they'll do away with it in AS2M.........a lot were expecting the non-chi quota to be opened up.. perhaps gov would do so after announcing a higher than expected dividend to get more ppl to purchase |

Before i invest money in this fund $15,000 can buy 10,000 kilo of sugar. Atfer waiting for 1 long year togather with VERY HIGH interest rate of 5%, $15000 + $750, i can only buy 9,000 kilo of sugar. OR i buy the wrong kind of things?

Bonus for ASW this year is 6.35%. Only 0.5% better than last year. I would have expected more since economy is on track of recovery and small market bull run.

PNB is the biggest shareholder of Sime Darby, SIme Darby make big lost this year, so it affects the return.... |

I wish they would increase the investment limit to RM 250,000 instead of RM 200,000K currently.

The return is not that much different unless the total investment is in Millions. Therefore i think the minor difference in the return is negligible and ASW2020 and ASD would be your next best alternative as soon as you have used up your quota in ASB. |
