Added on January 31, 2010, 8:01 pm

this surely caused by jek-rod...  cool2.gif  m i rite?
*
dunno wat cause that..no news from him yet

QUOTE(rainingzero @ Feb 1 2010, 09:03 AM)
Might caused by loosen piston pin, then the piston stuck on the block leaving the rod spinning and knocking the engine casing... sad.gif
*
maybe..but some frens said maybe caused by air trapped inside engine, became high pressure when engine overheat and blown the engine

this 'casing pecah' prob also i heard once in yamahat135 forum..

Hi anarchy,
I think the timing chain broke. I agak that's where it explode. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Ask your friend, did he change to stiffer cam spring and hi-cam while still using the stock timing chain?

correct me if I'm wrong, will changing sprocket really help in acceleration yet decrease in top speed 'I mean for stock bike instead of modded'..
*
actually its a common sense.. big ratio faster accel, small ratio for smooth and long riding.. and yeah using big sproket will decrease ur top speed and vice versa.. biggrin.gif

bro rainingzero, wats the powerband of both of these cams? i mean the rpm ranges ( eg. between 3-8k rpm, etc)
*
Sorry i don't have tachometer to verify the rpm range. I can feel the sudden power increase from mid-high rpm. Mostly on the higher side since i feel more power on high speed, its just the matter of struggling with the wind. blush.gif

frm wat i see in the pic, the timing chain is still intact within the exploded engine casing... or mayb its broken near the cam sprocket near the cam hmm.gif

he's using 63mm Block, TZM's Carb (dunno what else he put in)

morale:rocket only 1-10km with ur modified engine if u love ur engine...
*
yo, sorry to hear that.
Most likely the carb setting is slightly lean and makes the engine overheat.

Added on February 2, 2010, 1:41 pmYo guys,

I have taken out my NOB1 SSS finally. Got a new pipe for my CNY celebration tongue.gif

Here's some sneak peak.

1. the pipe is silent, same level as NOB1 SSS.

2. It looks like stock, but a lot lighter.

3. It makes your bike handles better. HUH?? HANDLE better? Yes, u see it right. This pipe, when you release throttle or open throttle, it won't have a sudden jerk, very smooth. So you wont have a sudden jerk while accelerating through corners.

For people who knows about exhaust pipe, you can hear the gas sound is 'fully released'.

It's a custom pipe, currently not yet have a brand name. In fact, it's still a secret project. we just get some pipes on hand to test at real world now. brows.gif
At the same time, the same pipe is tested on a stock engine. (mine is 160cc)

For price of cam+workmanship it only cost u around rm100-150. I think rm250 really expensive for cam...
