Hi to all. I'm new here and I'll be getting my LC ES within 2 weeks time. Can anyone tell me how to break in without hurting the engine and what EO should I use for break in. And when should I start using semi-syntethic EO ? Thanks..
Btw I'm also from Penang.

QUOTE(POD @ Nov 12 2009, 09:58 PM) Hey guys, Many of thinking that 125z is too fast compared to 135lc. Thats wrong, today i have tested a fully stock 125z vs stock 135lc with rear disc break (this will reduce the pickup as you know).. Surely 125z has the pickup, it gave about 5m gap to 135lc BUT at 3rd and 4th gear, 135lc easily smoked 125z... did i mention that both bikes were only used for >5000km.. 135LC owns!!!! huh 2 stroke always win le.. unless the lc is alr modified but i'm really interested in seeing lc vs 125z is possible. btw just got my bike and it's hell of a suffer riding before the break in is done..

QUOTE(TryX @ Nov 12 2009, 10:24 PM) Actually both bike LC135 and 125Z are pretty fast before mod or after mod just depends on what type of purposed it was use for. 125Z and amazing sprinter. 135LC and amazing endurance bike. Just can choose either 1 Endurance yes.. Btw I really nid to know what the EO grade means.. front means what back means what. And EO for LC which is really suitable ? Is Hi Rev 15-50w ok very easy to find ? Very cheap compare to Motul 5100..

QUOTE(alexei @ Nov 15 2009, 02:44 AM) Sorry to hear that... Added on November 15, 2009, 2:52 amDevilVanc, Are_Keem: After rain, use clean water to splash the bike. Just watch out if you use chrome pipe, may cause scaling if kena water when it is still hot. If already kena, just use metal polish... To clean chain, if not use O-ring, anything can clean, in fact the cleaner the better. If you wanna use petrol or WD40 or sabun baju also can. Then, let it dry it. Once I used sabun baju to wash chain+sprocket until it shine, and lube it back, no problem. If O-ring, only use chain cleaner to remove those dirt and grit on the outside. After cleaning, lube it with chain grease, this this is spray on, and dries up and stick to the chain. Chainlube cost from something between 12-60. Using EO to lube the chain is not the best, but at least it is something. wow good info, thx pal. Means I need to buy O-Ring and chain lube spray.. Hmm tesco penang got sell ? haha.. One more question, the coverset is made of plastic ma.. I heard some ppl said can use car wax to wax it shinny ? wah.. how fast did you ride ah until both rim also can pecah. But if you're not hurt then is good thx to God liao.

Well Penang road condition are really worst. Just wish one day they would used concrete instead of tar as used in USA. I went to several malls and only to be able to find WD40 but not the Lube.. is Grease Lube spray applicable to motor chain ? I saw one selling for around rm11.xx something at tesco. Btw I read somewhere is not recommended to use WD40.. But anyway I found this article.. quite informative http://www.canyonchasers.net/shop/generic/chain.phpuse kerosene n rag to clean This post has been edited by DevilVanc: Nov 15 2009, 06:01 PM

Hmm u 2 buy the lube from which part in penang ah ? The reason I don't go to racingmate is coz they are quite cutthroat.. last time bought my helmet there only to find out it's around 20RM plus more expensive. Though I know they are famous for some track racing stuff. Btw can someone snap a pic of normal chain incomparison to O-RING chain.. I want to know more hehe..

that day at night after coming back from penang bridge, i came across this LC fitted with Nobi SSS.. wow it's quite quiet though that guy rode like normal, not rempiting or anything. I think could go thru road block no probs. Anyway really learn a lot from you guys.
Is it true that using USB, it's not so good when cornering coz not suitable to LC design? I heard that from some guy at MBC.

I want to buy spray color to fix my mom's lc. got it scratched when took for changing tyre. any recommended brand ?

Okay since I ride both ES n SS.. My SS already few years and I think it's a second batch instead. Till now still top performance, can reach 120kmph easily even without full throttle. And I mean not even half the throttle. So u can see how good this LC engine is if you really take care of it. About SS better than ES.. well I just got my ES few weeks ago and currently doing 500km++. ES is better in handling and you'll definitely appreciate the smooth gear changing and dropping 2 gears at the same time and you won't fly away.. Acceleration hm.. this I got no comment. Coz you see SS u just hit gear and perah only. For ES you need to play with the clutch so you'll feel the torque when you're cruising at certain speed. If you release slow you'll feel slop as well. But ES you definitely cannot ride like 20kmph on gear 4... it feels like chugging of coz. n ES you must be very careful with your clutch handling when slow riding or when traffic jam coz if you slip it too much.. haha engine die lo. SS is good and easier to handle. But I never regret getting ES. Love the clutch. My point is if you opt for speed don't go for LC. Go for CBR150r.. I once owned this bike but sold it after 6 months due to 'not so good for going to work' no basket haha. But that one is a beast 4 stroke race bike even at stock. But if you're going for something speedier than that, don't choose any 4 stroke go for Ninja 150rr. So my advice is ask yourself which is your choice.. LC performance is good but it's not for racing. About 1st gear dragging to 30-40.. well that also depends on how you throttle.. if you do some hard throttle it's short but try dragging it slowly but at rapid you'll notice gear 1 can hit 30-40 as well even current batch. Peace.. I'm not pro but sharing my exp hehe..

QUOTE(TryX @ Dec 10 2009, 11:05 PM) Yar LC is like moderate in everything. Like Endurance bike Yup I totally agree. But even though I've ridden so many types of kapchai.. ex5, wave, rgv, fz150 (fren), belang (testing),kriss, scooter blah blah.. bikes that I really owned till now is CBR150r n current new ES.. Well I dare to say no other kapchai in the market could do such I mean 'endurance' power. Want to understand more about this LC, well take a spin to Balik Pulau route, then you'll see what I mean. That's y I still buy ES as my third bike. If I want speed I'll go for Ninja150 instead. The reason I say about how you play with the throttle is.. either you want agressive when gear 1 for pickup or top speed.. that really depends on that. But upon gear 2 and 3 this is where you can play with how you want even on a stock bike. What I mean is for example you're cruising around 70kmph on gear 4 suddenly you need to slow down your bike due traffic, you could just hit down to gear 3 and still play with the rev "fast" to gain back speed to 70-80 easily and upon gear 4 is free rev. For example you're cruising on 40kmph on gear 4, rev agressive but not even half throttle you'll feel the engine rotation quite fast to reach even 80kmph. Other bike will just drag you down. That's where I see the performance. It's power but not for speeding pls... At least on just stock factory setting. This post has been edited by DevilVanc: Dec 10 2009, 11:15 PM

QUOTE(mfa333 @ Dec 11 2009, 01:33 AM) I just bought new 135LC ES. How long and what should i do during burn-in period? any speed limit or rev limit? and, is it normal this pipe kinda abit long "terjuntai"? somewhere few pages back got say how to burn in fast way or using old method. I don't know la. Or u can check your manual, there got say during how many km you cannot exceed the rev throttle, just follow lo.. btw is recommended at least change EO n oil filter twice b4 1000km.. when not 1000km yet pls don't full throttle.. what I did was silly I ride less than 50kmph before 500km haha.. after 500km i ride less than 70kmph.. after 1000km less than 100kmph.. I dunno la. maybe some pro here can teach u hehe or flip back few pages back lo.

QUOTE(mfa333 @ Dec 11 2009, 10:01 PM) oh.. ok.. riding 50kmph all the time makes me sleepy.. eh, change oil n filter twice before 1000km mileage? i see.. thx for input.. the reason u nid to change EO n OF coz of 'tik sai' err duno how to say that the metal shreds coz of new engine ma. I know some ppl change 3 or 4 times before 1000km. I changed once at 500km and second time at 1000km. Some ppl change at 200, 500, 1000.. but if bo lui then ma change twice lo. Riding under 60 is really teruk. But my previous SS till now still geng. I got a question to all pros out there. If change new CDI, will my LC make loud noise or it's completely same ? And CDI is not harmful right as long as I keep below red line ? Hmm i wonder what's the redline rpm for LC ? This post has been edited by DevilVanc: Dec 11 2009, 11:14 PM
