Wa then mid-high cam + this pipe ma owning liao lor??? Btw charge, tomolo 7.00pm++ u free or not?? Calvin wan to see the pipe so asking u to go Long Bui makan n sembang.. Anyone wan to join??? Make it like a TT..
Let's make it 7.30pm at KutaBali food court.

haha, my stage 1 cam + oversized porting + custom pipe = MINI VTEC.

U tested my NOB1 before, its something like that:
NOB: 50..60..70..80...90...100.....110.....120.......130
CUS: 50...60...70...80...90...100..110..120..130

mid-low to mid-high NOB1 SSS is faster, but once I reached the 'MINI VTEC' region, the power just rushed out of the engine Vroommmmm !!!!!
whole pipe sound also change to super loud like rempit.

and yes, my bike can go 130 with 3rd gear Standard size sprocket. icon_rolleyes.gif

how to kontak u bro.
saturday maybe i'll go penang.
btw the price of da pipe + workmanship installing bout hw much?
UGPM dude.

When the pipe is officially launched with brand name, it will be selling on par with NOB1 SSS price (around RM200). Now it is on promotion period.

TBH, I am helping my friend to sell his pipe and get some commission in return.
For the first 5 pipes taken from me, I'll give personal discount out of special promotion price. You guys will get double discount.

eh bro i was just wondering y u said u kena once at road block.. could it be due to the rear end hole different from stock ? What if just stick the LC ring metal thing at the back like some of the lc in town. U know the round metal thing that cover the hole of the exhaust ? Btw is it possible to upload to youtube so that we can hear the sound.. i wonder how silence is silent of your new pipe hehe..

that time all bikes are stopped and thoroughly checked. That policeman is an LC rider, so he knows that NOB1 is not an original pipe. I managed to pass after some chit-chatting.

That time i say like this: "the ori pipe kena stolen when I go pasar malam. You know the price for new one is RM400+ leh. It's too costly. so no choice lo, I just get a similar one with acceptable noise. I also know loud sound is very irritating and kacau orang, but no choice ma. pipe stolen, no pipe lagi noisy. this pipe half price of ori at least barely affordable lo. "

BTW, the custom pipe cannot put the round metal thing.

It is a rare item from Thailand.
In layman term it is stage 1.
In more technical term, it's a 250 degree (IN) cam. FYI stock is 225 degree (IN), and stage 4 is 330 degree (IN).

ok, since you asked about noise level, I realized I have not done any sound level review yet.

This is my personal opinion:

stock: silent until u dont feel power.
nob1: got some sweet sound, yet the sound is tolerable
custom: cruising mode sounds like EX5 half throttle, race mode sounds like half rempit.
ahm: 100% rempit mode, the pipe very bassy.

The best thing I like about this pipe is, there is a screw at the tail of the pipe!!
you must be wondering, what the heck the screw is up for??
ok... i asked my fren too, LOL.

He said, that screw is to open up the pipe and insert fibre. Usually after a few years of usage, our exhaust pipe will have a lot of carbon occupied in the silencer, and the noise level will increase. So this pipe has the flexibility to take out old fibre and insert new one with ease.

TBH my bike itself is pretty noisy at full throttle, even with standard or NOB1 SSS. (we can meet up and you hear the sound level)
cruising mode ok la, js like ex5 standard.

I like a pipe that, when cruising I can relax and no stupid noisy sound from pipe. But when I race, that noise from pipe is no longer noise, it becomes BOOSTER!! boost my andrenaline tongue.gif

There is a saying in performance tuning circle: "When it sounds, it may not have power; but when the power comes, it sounds"

haha, DevilVanc, don't be so eager 1st.
The pipe is loud once you half throttle to pick up. The difference with other pipe is that, it is not so 'bassy' and got more acceleration.
Only when u do less than 1/4 throttle, it will sound like EX5.

The sound may be a bit loud according to the feedbacks I collected (yes, it is louder than NOB1 SSS), but I can guarantee, the power is surely more satisfying, esp from mid-high rpm onwards.

If you really mind about sound level, we can meet up at the workshop. I'll transfer my pipe to yours and you hear it on your bike. My bike not so accurate, as it is already loud with standard pipe or NOB1 pipe.

btw, I am staying around Bayan Lepas area.

Need opinion on LC riders who also have experienced with FZ150i. icon_rolleyes.gif Help me ya.

I've ridden a FZ n currently owned 2 LC. From stock factory, FZ got more torque and it's definitely easy on your back if you're travelling far. Definitely a better choice given you can buy a FZ with insurance for less than RM8k. That's a few hundred more compare to LC which is sold around 6.8k without insurance yet.. ES sold around 7k+.

Last time I was given a choice to either buy FZ or LC.. I go for LC coz it's easier in CITY ride yet I need a basket to carry stuff. With FZ u need a bag or saddle bag.. Don't use BOX.. it totally ruin the image haha.. n distract air flow when you're cruising at high speed.. But if I'm to travel far, I'll go for FZ anytime.

Maintenance wise is the same. They are both the same bike just FZ with fuel injection which means your pocket save more on gas..

Thanks guys. I'll go for FZ150i not because I don't like LC, i love them but since I'm a tall person, my back keeps hurting everyday when riding Lagenda.

Thats why considering FZ150i although the looks is a bit 80's, maybe i can have bit of security because of that. (LC hotness)

Still finalizing my choice, going to get one end of this month. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Devil, NaGeNaZ,
last time my dad was asking me the same question too. His Suzuki Shogun is kinda screwed up, wanted to change a new bike. He decided on FZ for long distance.
For modification, its basically the same. FZ engine can modify like LC.

FZ camshaft is 270 degree, near to stage 2 cam performance. The pipe and EFi is the limitation. Take out that EFi and put a 28mm carb, you can instantly get more power at top end. brows.gif

Bizzy, last night my carburetor pilot air screw is at 3 1/2 turn --> slightly lean setting. The fuel is burnt more completely, thus making more noise.

This morning I turn back to 3 1/4 and go for 30km testing. Guess what, the pipe becomes more silent, no more big bang and occasional blurp. Its a smooth rev sound closed to NOB1 SSS level. (It's better that you hear with your own ear).

After that I went to find my fren and complain about the sound level. He said can change to another type of fibre to absorb noise, just need to add RM15. I am going to try out with the high quality fibre next week, perhaps you guys can go along and listen.

Ohh, this one!
I wonder if you know Titan suspension (for car). The boss owns this bike, and he customize the bike absorber for better handling.
