actually leh, i think horr, trafik saman 2stroke straight pipes one loh. those very loud at night one.

just yesterday i was stopped at a road block, then another bike just zoomed past without helmet. police just let them past... bullies i tell you.

I've been asked twice by police about my bike, and they commented it's well restored. smile.gif They'd even let me go once because I forgot to put number plate on new windscreen. Thank him.

Twice, i saw road block with a trooper and 3~4 Kips standby. this roadblock don't play2, if lucky can see some action like on TV3 one... biggrin.gif

For aftermarket mods leh, i think only puspakom don't approve. I think as long as we all ride safe, don't rempit, the police also won't go out and penalize us lah.

Make them trust you to handle the road wisely. Ask your dad on a trip. You ride a Lagenda now, rite?

What's the bore and stroke size of std LC engine?

Added on August 3, 2009, 7:27 pmOk, found it... 54 x 58.7.
Hmmm, you guys upgrade it to 60mm bore.

I was just thinking, changing to bigger piston/block, are you guys still using stock head, or there is one matching the new block?
If no change head, I guess that's why some of you are hearing 'weird' sounds from the engine, especially if skim block and racing gasket some more...

Any of you wanna try speed, let me know I bring either my bikes we go match the speed?

Btw, I've installed the LIPPO (Capalang Mikuni) carb on my TZM, so far so good. Air screw need minor adjustment.

Added on August 6, 2009, 11:19 pmAny of you want ebook on riding like a Pro? smile.gif

I've just read first chapter, and it explains traction control during cornering. The fact is to keep 40/60 traction on the road (slightly accelerating). Even if the road condition is not ideal, you have higher chance of passing the turn compared to braking or letting go throttle... this reminded me on an incident, where there was a pool of water at a corner, which I made it but my friend who braked... fell.

haha, i time using video cam. I think yours will be a bit faster, bee hock ported the head for you.
haha, no plan to change cyl head.
Big valve head may sacrifice low-mid rpm torque.

js need to do some porting at the opening of the 'tunnel'

CODE

 \_______/
A _______ B
 /            \

something like the above..
A and B is where I wanna port.

*air-fuel goes in from A --> B
*
Charge,
Clarification, 'A' is the head side, 'B' is chamber side, correct ah?
Then, normally port 'A' and polish 'B', right?

Porting = Make the valve opening bigger.
Polish = Polish the valve opening, seat, and intake port to shine... allowing valve to close fit.

paisehlah, I'm stil old skool fella.
I guess the TPS function said already is correct, nothing much to add to it, coz I didn't design the CDI afterall, and I wouldn't know what to say to it. tongue.gif I only learn about this TPS thingy in this forum ley...

What I may add is, if any of you mod bigger carbs with no TPS, may consider to do 'surgery' to 'transplant' the TPS. As for its benefits, I can only think off engine smoothness....

Either that, or remove the TPS from the carb, and use it as a manual dial connected to the CDI as you ride.
Try to ride with TPS at zero, and then TPS at open position to compare...

Or, measure the open/close resistance of the TPS, and buy a suitable Variable Resistor for the above mod... only cost few bucks.

About thievery, please lock your bikes... I have 4 locks on my bike and I still can't sleep well sometimes.
I've heard of cases where even landed houses in Penang got broken into just to steal the bike.
They brought weapons, and drugs to sedate the dogs... Be careful when encounter them. One trick i can think of as weapon is toilet cleaner or some squirting cleaning agent like those Harpic stuff... and aim for the face...

I use padlocks on discs and sprocket. And to lock rims, I use long loop-type lock to secure the rims over the handle bar... good luck. Don't just depend on alarms, as chewing gum or shaving cream will mute them. All locks is only able to deter and slow down the thieves, not theft-proof.

Very long gas again... paiseh.

Suhail92 - tyre size are in inner diameter, width and height. in this case, 90/80 means W/H, and the std inner diameter is 17inches... change tyre no need change rim.

Bro radio... looks like TryX maybe right, tire too tall and scratch mudguard until it overheat, and melt the paint.

Suggest use 80/80 or 90/80 for fronts...

I compared tyres yesterday, 110 and 90, both 80 profile... the 110 are so much heavier for the extra width. Comparing the same size of Michelin Sporty and Maxxis dunno what (not racing rubber), the Michelin is heavier.

I wanted to compare 130/70 michelin and Duro Racing, but no stock...

Anyone knows of 100/80 tyres out there?

Added on August 18, 2009, 7:57 pm
And btw, tyre break in period is 150miles recommended by manufacturer... that's ~200km of break in.
