QUOTE(ar188 @ Nov 11 2009, 11:15 AM) but I have no issues with my realtek 1073 player via sata connection using NTFS 1.5TB HDD (but not partitioned or formatted by the realtek chip)..even with 43GB BD ISOs.. need to buffer or else dun play smoothly so don't think it's a good excuse for acryan if it jerks during playback..... of course unless the file is coded with a non standard parameter or weird codec.. "need to buffer or else dun play smoothly". The above is too dramatic a statement I don't think I implied that My take is, it will play smoothly most of the time , but the buffers will perhaps help in certain circumstances when playing 'taxing' files.

QUOTE(azbro @ Nov 11 2009, 10:41 AM) Samsung did this well...only need to improve in the DTS and external Digital Audio output. Yup! Yes, de_lasoul, you are correct my samsung cannot decode DTS movies, so DTS will have to convert to AC3. It is not a problem since so many good sifu here already help. This LCD is ok cos I'm using in my small peasant bedroom, no room for anything else. Just enough room to mount on wall. No asstro or anything else hook to it. The only wires you see are its power cable, Cat5e and external HDD cable. Can play this file NO PROBLEMO BAY BE!
