Which mode you use? 1080p 60Hz or 1080p 50Hz? Try to select other mode and c whether can solve the problem.

Note:
Copy install.img to the root directory of a USB flash drive and connect it to the USB host port of the player.
Enter the Setup menu, System, System Update, System Upgrade and Enter to confirm.
Please wait for the flashing to complete until the Playon! HD restarts by itself.
Do not power off the unit during the flashing process!

The HDMI connection may reset after updating the firmware and may go out of sync with your display.
Press the TV SYS button on the remote a few times to sync with a compatible display mode if this happen.
Once the display is back, we recommend setting to HDMI Auto in the video setup menu unless a manual mode is preferred.

Attention:
Please note that version v7.0.6 r2233 is based on the latest SDK version 2 and cannot be downgraded to earlier versions.
Should you need to roll back to an earlier version, you will need to reformat the internal HDD through the Playon!HD system.

I have tested the DTS HD MA but it seems that the pass through still not work well. But down mix is ok.

but got bdiso mah. Haha.

BDiso is working now but not full function. I mean the subtitle and scene selection still not applicable.

Want to check with owners of this media player, does it display movie duration?
I may miss the opportunity to check them out during Sitex 2009, November 26th - 29th, on business trip for a day and only free late in the evening, what more with all the pretty Leng Lui promoters around it.

It is officially because all new coming batch on next week loaded with this firmware.

I couldn't find this at AC Ryan's website. I think I will wait for feedback first because it's a bit tricky reverting back once updated. Mine is still 1402 firmware. Thanks.

Of course. As I said, this is the latest update from my friend, Box Builder Solution and they are the biggest ditributor of ACR at Malaysia now. They just received from ACR Asia Pacific. Stay with them because I heard that they are going to offer something for their customers. I hv updated and it works.

I just test it yesterday night. Multi channel LPCM right surround speaker still no sound, same as previous firmware. DTS HD and BD ISO still cannot support.

BD ISO still cannot support? Is it the latest firmware? It mention can support BD ISO.

Updated to 2233 firmwware.

1) First thing I noticed was some video modes are screwed.

Was previously using 1402 firmware, there was no problem with 720P 60Hz (Don't have FullHD display yet). Now with 2233 using 720P 60Hz gives me a 'flattened' pic with washed out colours and contrast. 480P 60Hz also the same although I don't use it. *(Aspect Ratio is set at 16:9).

2) Adjusting the screen size function absolutely doesn't do anything. Don't know why they put that feature in, if it doesn't do anything.

3) My old playlist becomes "invalid file" or something like that after upgrade. Deleted them and recreated them now OK already. Not an issue here.

4) Subtitles which was previously all ok at default settings , now some of them becomes really huge. Have to adjust them individually to smaller size. More work to do espc if you have a lot of files with this problem.

5) Last time when resume a movie after stopping can still resume with the previously chosen Audio and subtitles (I think) , but now when resume it goes back to default audio only.

Just a brief testing I did only. Haven't played around further. I dread what I might find further . Can't revert back to original firmware as it would require reformatting the HD
