QUOTE(WereWolf84 @ Sep 8 2009, 05:18 PM) What kind of problems? A.C. Ryan cannot play those supported files flawlessly? Just joking a bit . Well maybe he mentioned some problems with 1 or 2 m2ts or something. You have to cheak his previous posts. Will probably be solved with future firmware

I guess the Aluminium casing of the Hard Disk will absorb the heat and transfer it upwards.

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Oct 5 2009, 02:53 PM) I just call C-Zone and a guy quote me RM699 fro POHD. What a bullcrap price. The I call Viewnet and the price is RM630. Why so much different in pricing yet someone can buy for like RM600 only? Maybe Viewnet don't have stock so simply quote low price.

QUOTE(azbro @ Oct 12 2009, 10:14 PM) I thought ACRyan more capable of playing MKV than WDTV? He was talking about WD TV Live. Don't think it's the same as WDTV.

Initially when first available, a lot of interest shown here in this thread. But now like ghost town already. Anymore feedback from those who bought the POHD. Maybe you are all too busy and happy playing around with it and no more time to post or is it the other way round. Are you all disappointed and no mood to post here anymore

Of course, those are anti-static bags. Just be careful you dont drop, expose to strong magnet etc. You will cry if you lose a 1.5T full of movies collection if you are not careful

So no problem interchanging HD to and fro other HD players like TViX?

QUOTE(barry @ Oct 21 2009, 12:02 PM) ar188, POHD will automatically ask to format the internal HDD, otherwise it is unusable. So, it is no good if you are thinking of sticking a 'loaded' HDD into the player. But this post says that you can't simply connect a 'loaded' HDD into the player. Is he wrong?

OK, so it's only the Internal HD. If for e.g I want to connect a HD which was previously used in TViX into the internal port for the A.C Ryan, then it will require a reformat and all data will be lost. Is that correct? In that case what I need to do is buy a New Hard Disk as A.C Ryan internal Hard Disk , format it using the formatting option and then connect the HD from the TViX as an external HD and transfer the files over to the New Internal one. Am I making sense with what I am saying

But I presume if you use it the other way round, i.e switch a pre-formatted AC Ryan Hard Disk to the TViX there shouldn't be a problem. The TViX will just not see the special hidden partitions created by the AC Ryan but can use the rest.
Do you have any idea? Sorry for taking up so much of your time.
