IT simply means that "EFI" can't find a bootable OSX partition. Thats why you see a ? logo. It happens if your HDD is dead , you've formatted OSX , etc

Its related to HDD by the way , you can still boot to another windows partition or osx partition on a USB stick or drive
*
hmm.. but i used my mac like lesser than 5 times. =/ . I've just installed Office , iwork and just did some internet browsing. Never install any os or anything . Just switch on my laptop one day an it happened. =/ .

Brought it to machines and they didnt even check it , just say . ok , hdd prob will change new one. come back in 1 week.

It does sound like a faulty HDD. It is not that uncommon to have faulty HDD on new machines. Good thing is its a relatively easy fix, hope you didn't lose any data on it.

By default, no, you need the perian plugin for that or use VLC instead.

Wish to know something..

I have a sister in dubai, and all this while we've been communicating via Live Messenger Video Call feature. However, messenger for mac can't video call - She's using windows (HP Pavillion)

Is there a way, not block by Dubai internet providers to video call from mac in malaysia to windows pc in dubai?

Video is very important - the only way my nieces know how her family in Malaysia actually look like.

Skype won't really work. If you are taking bout restrictions on the internet, be grateful that we live here. There, the only known video call you are able to make is through live messenger.
