QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Feb 27 2010, 08:26 PM) oic. if u gonna wipe then no problem. juz go into disk utility as i mentioned, select ur drive on the left (the drive, not the volume), go to the Erase tab, n erase then proceed with the SL installation. youtube has a view videos u can watch to have some idea all macs have bluetooth module. it doesnt work in win7 probably because of no driver support. it should work fine in OSX. did it work before u install win7? it worked when it was in OSX leopard and one more thing, now in windows, the eject button too wont work, hav to eject fr "my computer"

QUOTE(jayelleenelial @ Feb 28 2010, 10:23 AM) I'm not sure if it is a hardware problem or not. But I read something online about a ribbon cable getting burnt/bend coz of the expanding battery...etc. Don't know if that is my problem or not? I don't really know what trigger's the problem but I suspect it is heat. When I am in my cold room and on my bed, the problem is less frequent. But in the dining area, the problem is bigger. The trackpad becomes unresponsive and it shakes and goes abit crazy around the screen and opens things up by itself, sort of possessed. Putting my entire palm on the trackpad for 5 seconds cures the problem, but the problem comes back. Does any one know why??? and also, if I bring it to KLCC Machines tomorrow (sunday), will they be open and can they fix it on the spot??
i dont think there are technicians working on weekends, office hours only monday to friday, you can always send your machine in, nothing can be done on the spot, parts that are faulty need to be ordered, standard practice anywhere.

I don' know what's wrong with my Macbook white 13.3inch polycarbonate..It's lagging sometimes..
Perhaps its because I like to multitask?
I always have Firefox, Chrome, YM, Skype, Word and Mail open at the same time..And tens of tabs open on each browser too..
Is that why?
Should I upgrade to 4gb ram?

Hi,
Its been quite long since I'm gone from here. Recently, I bought a Mini Display port to DVI adapter to hook my MBP with the external monitor.
Now, I want to have video output to VGA monitors so I was looking for DVI-D to VGA connectors in the computers and still couldn't find one.
Do you guys think I could possibly get one from Lowyat? Or there's no such connector at all? Coz I read on Apple.com that this connector only carries single digital link. Advice me and guide me please.

You'll need the Mini Display Port to VGA convertor.
A normal DVI to VGA convertor won't work because the DVI out only carries a digital signal.

Hey guys, do you guys experience this before? Sometimes when I boot up the laptop, I can't seem to use the 3 or 4 finger gestures, but one and two finger still works. I have to restart once or several times to make it work again. What is the problem? my mbp or the software?
