Guys, how come my White Macbook 2009 unibody lag ar?

My lenovo Y550 also faster..Sigh..

Like..I click on Safari, and it takes a while to load..

Then I open a file in .docx, it takes like 20 seconds to load too..

whereas on my lenovo, microsoft word opens the file in around 10 sec or less..

My macbook white still kinda slow right now..

Macbook white 2009 specs:
2.26ghz, 2gb ram, 250 gb hdd

Lenovo:
T6600 (i don't know how many ghz for that model), 4gb ddr3 ram, 320 hdd..

Maybe the ram's making all the difference? I tried my friend's macbook pro, and his runs like water..

I don' know what's wrong with my Macbook white 13.3inch polycarbonate..It's lagging sometimes..

Perhaps its because I like to multitask?

I always have Firefox, Chrome, YM, Skype, Word and Mail open at the same time..And tens of tabs open on each browser too..

Is that why?

Should I upgrade to 4gb ram?
