yes, but i don't think he's referring to ripping dvds/br-d though. he wanted to convert rmvb to mp4. but hey, n97 is using a real player so shouldnt rm and rmvb format be supported directly? trickle, have you tried copying your rmvb file into phone  and play it directly without converting it?
*
you can play rmvb in N97, however i find it laggy, unless u convert it to MP4

i m using pc suite 7.1, however i coulnt find anyway to convert my rmvb to Mp4...

btw, nokia flash light issue causing washed out night photo is true(sometime u will find out ur photo tends to be brighter(white) at left side.....) , i read bout this in oversea review forum.....and i experienced this b4....

For me, this is quite expected for LED flash, had the same problem when I was using the N73.

the nokia pc suite (not Ovi suite) has a component called video manager which converts any video files (i think) to mp4 format, it has a simple conversion interface and is optimized for n97. you will have to download it from the nokia website.
*
Video manager in Ovi suite does not support rmvb.

Yes, I want to convert rmvb to mp4, gzero. I have tried to copy rmvb file to the phone directly and play it but errors appears. Yes, sos strange that the phone has real player but can't support rmvb. Sigh

Hey Blinky, I have choosen that option and it works! Thanks. The only problem I notice is the quality for the tvb series I converted from rmvb to mp4 is low (can see pixel and bit blur) where else those movies (e.g ice age) is much better. Clear. Strange. I have compared few times and result between the series and movies are the same as above.

N97 can support RMVB ? You have to download some free RMVB converter to convert right?

It means that your original video file is in low-res, nothing to do with the converter.

Glad I could help.

my camera's pics are very blur and have like a grainy effect to them. dont seem all too clear for 5mp to me...
my camera lens has no scratches and stuff.
however when i zoom into the picture in my image folder, the sharpness seems to be higher, but when just in browsing mode, it remains blurrish..
anyone have any idea how to improve image quality? rclxub.gif
