QUOTE(mrunicron @ Jul 24 2009, 09:46 PM) my camera's pics are very blur and have like a grainy effect to them. dont seem all too clear for 5mp to me... Nokia 5800 also like that... dont worry.my camera lens has no scratches and stuff. however when i zoom into the picture in my image folder, the sharpness seems to be higher, but when just in browsing mode, it remains blurrish.. anyone have any idea how to improve image quality? |

Hi people! I am interested in this phone. I've read through the previos thread and this one as well. It seems like there are quite a few problems with the phone. Anyways, as it costs around RM2k for one unit, I would really like to know personal opinions from all of you before I get it! Thanks!

Depends on yr budget and also yr taste towards physical keyboard. If u are ok with full touchscreen 5800 is yr choice,if not get the N97 but i personally like the feel of the N97,sturdy and heavy. Something like the E71 |

n97 rocks. No regret move to n97 from n95 8gb. Just cam quality, n95 better than n97. Hope next firmware will solve the problem.

Thank you for the comments. I don't mind the camera quality I supposed. Because I always used to bringing my digi cam around so I guess I won't be using much of the camera function.
Regarding the upgrading firmware issue, is it complicated to upgrade? Do we have to pay? If so, how much? |

QUOTE(vexus @ Jul 26 2009, 11:19 PM) phone book scrolls using the scrolling bar, just like windows. you dont drag the phonebook freely, so no kinetic scrolling. however, in internet browser and certain apps, yes, there is kinetic scrolling. |

A program to update firmware via cable/bluetooth.Regarding the upgrading firmware issue, is it complicated to upgrade? Do we have to pay? If so, how much? Another alternative, fast and easy is via FOTA = Firmware upgrade Over The Air. Just key in *#0000#, click on option and search for update, connect via WiFi and it will update automatically. |
