So now I want to confirm with u that memory slot 2 was faulty and you right now cant run dual channel at 1066 without having errors in Prime, correct?

And during the error, you have set the voltage to 2.2v and the DDR Clock at 1066 and slotted the DDR modules into the other set of slots which are working fine...Correct/??
hmm.gif

Added on July 20, 2009, 4:15 amSet the NB Voltage up 1.4v and the DDR to 2.2v...

Ensure the DDR Clock is at 1066 and set the tRFC to 55 while other settings are left in Auto mode...

Try swapping and reseating the modules again...

the first 2 slot can even run on 800mhz without prime failing, let alone 1066mhz

so i move both ram to the second 2 slot which can run 800mhz without failing prime.
only problem is it cannot run 1066mhz.

so yeah.both is correct.

Added on July 20, 2009, 4:24 amwhich is NB voltage ?
chipset or HT ?

you mean 'can't even run' am I correct? So let them slot alone...

Set the NB Voltage up 1.4v and the DDR to 2.2v...

Ensure the DDR Clock is at 1066 and set the tRFC to 55 while other settings are left in Auto mode...

Try swapping and reseating the modules again...

Once you set to 1066, computer doesn't POST or Prime will fail???

CPU voltage:
Mem Voltage:
NB Voltage:
HTT Voltage:

fill in this also when u reply...

thanks wink.gif

once i set 1066.
computer would post,but failed prime

CPU vcore :1.280v
DDR voltage:2.144v
Chip voltage:1.184v
HT voltage:1.200v

should i bump chip and ht voltage to 1.4v ?
that seems like a leap in voltage

and i couldn't find the setting for tRFC

i did found tRFC0,tRFC1,tRFC2,tRFC3 and the options are 75ns,105ns,127.5ns,195ns,327.5ns

Bump only +0.1 for the chip and HT...

tRFC0,1,2,3 means you DRAM slots...so identify which slots is fixed with the Memory module and leave the ones which are empty...

Set them to 105 first, if fail, up one more step, if fail try 195ns...

Bump the CPU also to 1.35v

Very hot like 'kettle' hot or 'tv' hot??? hmm.gif

The voltages that you feed isn't lethal or even in the redzone.... hmm.gif

yeah.
i read aaa lot even before i assemble my pc.
problems like mine is unheard of.
mobo supports 1066
ram support 1066
my PSU should be just right for my setup
proc ran 1 hour of prime no problem.

tv hot.nothing out of the ordinary i guess.

i doubt messing with the timings would make any difference coz i set it on auto and its very loose timing for 1066mhz

plug out all d power connectors on mobo, take out d battery & leave it for hours... that's 2nd last resort. last one should be hot flash... sweat.gif

which bios u flashed & how it was done? i've tried those provided by pc criminal @ xs w/ d windows flasher everything was ok, but i found 'em not suitable for my x4 810 so i reverted back to official bios which is 04/24/09. smile.gif
