QUOTE(Liuism @ Jul 31 2009, 04:24 PM) Buy new ones, sayang wan to buy... yeah, i dun train for running events... nowdays run, knees will feel discomfort, walking still ok, but sometimes will also feel discomfort.. After running, do pushups, sit-ups, squats, and etc lor.. for god sake, just get a decent pair of running shoes for running. dont have to pay so much if your mileage is extremely low. just go and look out for those sales. else i can tell u, u regret for the rest of your life when ur knee give way at older age. trust me cos i have seen lotsa of similar incidents like you This post has been edited by ccube: Jul 31 2009, 06:47 PM

Or you can always run barefooted Saw an uncle doing it as well as a few guys in US raving about it. I'll be trying to arrange a bulk purchase of Vibram Five Fingers, maybe you will be interested as well: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1115308This post has been edited by fuzzy: Aug 1 2009, 02:58 AM

Plus its not like you're gonna waste it coz you can still use that shoe for other stuff.

tested out the Adi KOTR vest for the 2nd time this morning on a 10k run. Chafing, chafing, chafing. The armpit opening is too tight and small, hence causes chafing. Not a good vest to use for long distance running (at least for me). the cutting is tight even though i go for Size L.

Savor_Savvy: This question has been asked and answered many many times. Running pants with storage compartment, arm pouch, waist pouch, hydration belt, race-id belt, carry with bare hands, etc... are some of the ways.

it depends, but yesterday i bought one from nike. The fabric is good. It is light enough even after u put in some things in it. Ive tested it during my run yesterday and fully satisfied. Honestly, ull find some other better brands. Im just a nike freak. :-P

There are running specific brands like Fuel Belt and Ultimate Directions. Google their brand and you find them. I'm able to help you get them should you be interested. Pricey yes, but it does its job really well. There's another brand call Nathan which ccube is carrying but you gotta to be creative enough to add additional pouch or something as it's design only to carry gels and your race-id.
The Nike waist bag that was mentioned, unless it's the music pouch designed for ipod which costs about RM89.90, the others are just too big and bulky for running.

It is not the music pouch, and definitely it is big. Have some reservations about buying it at first. But after going through traumatic experience during the SCKLM, realized that i need to have one as well. Oh, the price is RM55 btw.
