for editing ms office docs i use Documents 2 for iphone. it have wifi capability to enable you to upload docs from your pc to iphone. you can also upload and download to google's doc. its only usd1.99. dont tell me you cant spend rm8 to get this app? theres also an app specific for ms office docs. its usd9.99. thats rm35? and there's no annual license!

i hope maxis will offer upgrade packages to existing ivalue subscribers! any news on this?

Nice to know that to edit MS doc, you don't need one of those expensive license from Microsoft. BTW, can it also edit Excel file?

One thing I don't like about iValue2. Assuming I have many cheaper family supplementary line under Value30, their call charges is 20 sen/min.

initially was offered to Hotlink customers as well. once stock shortages hit, priority was given only to postpaid customers.

yep this was the case, last year when stocks rebounded hotlink plan was reintroduced. If you what to get under hotlink plan make sure you get it during the launch period rather than waiting.

There are 2 major software which are Documents To Go (D2G) or Quickoffice. Both priced almost on same range. I'm using Quickoffice but recently they have been slugging behind D2G. I think I read somewhere D2G now supports Powerpoint editing as well which is a plus...
Don't worry, both will do Excel editing just fine wink.gif

Yes, you would have to pay something called an 'advance payment'. This amount would vary depending on the plan you choose. In your case, you'd have to pay RM 200 (for 12 months) or RM 400 (for 24 months). This advance payment will be divided equally over a period of 5 months.

This RM 100/mth plan does include calls (333 minutes worth) and SMS (100). Anything on top of that you'd have to pay more.

Hope I helped you understand it better. smile.gif

Just added note. Some doesn't have to pay the advance payment at all. Depends on how long you've been with Maxis and your spending with them but in general everyone have to pay for it

You mean both priced at USD1.99? So cheap as some poster said it is?

Impossible.
There must be at least a plan which is the same as the 3GS plan.
AND
Maxis COO revealed that iPhone 4 COULD come to Malaysia in August and it WON'T be too expensive.
It will never be 4k.

Apple = everything in the box has warranty.
so for iPhone3G & 3G[S], you can claim warranty on the phone itself, the USB cable, the wall plug.
all 1 year. source > Apple.com
