@Superman7,
Er.. I haven't checked your calculations but if it is right, then the Hotlink plans are more worth it because:-

1) You pay RM200 less (U said "You only pay additional RM200 in comparison with the Hotlink plan")
2) The Hotlink plans come with 500MB of FOC data usage.

the hotlink plans of 500mb, it is on iphone 3gs? i mean i've saw the advertisment alike for iphone 3g, but due on 31 July... just want a confirmation

@g3n0c|d3,
Yes the Hotlink prepaid plans are available on the i3GS as well as the i3G.  Both plans give out 500MB FOC of data p/month for 12 months.

good to hear that..... if that the case... im going to buy from here.... thnks again!

I think the prepaid plan is quite attractive, since it provide free 500mb monthly data transfer. The iValue plan which charge RM0.10 per SMS is damn expensive, if I have to pay RM100 per month, it consider quite expensive already and I don't expect to pay more because of SMS.

Don't forget the Hotlink prepaid will gain points and can exchange for more free SMS and talking time. I think I will go with the prepaid plan.

it is the best choice (at least ) for me right now... with light surfing, i bet i wont able to finish the free 500mb given.... and for a person like me, prepaid is the best option and with offers like this, i cant go wrong....

Hi guys,I'm thought of getting the prepaid plan for the 3Gs phone, but the problem is that I want to keep my
postpaid number when I've bought the 3Gs phone. I understand that we need to buy a new prepaid pack in
order to go for the prepaid plan. So can anyone tell me how to keep this postpaid number and at the same
time get this prepaid plan for RM24990 for the 16GB 3Gs phone. icon_question.gif

issit? i thought just register ur current prepaid number and then all ok already? anyone can confirm this matter?

you can either get a new one or one which you're using currently or previously owned, as long as it's still active.

someone pls clarify this
im now using my hotlink no.

ive talk to the maxis personnel yesterday and i found out that the u can use the existing prepaid number without have to buy a new prepaid card or any sort of payment... just pay the amount and then over there just choose ur plan (of course like myself im going for the prepaid plan.)

and after chit chat with him, he told me that the shipping of the iphone 3gs will arrive today (on 19th july) and will be distribute to all the participant outlet. hope he's telling me the truth thou.....

and just want to share some information with u guys... the bookings only valid until 24th july 2009, and after that no more bookings and what i heard is u'll be given some goodies? (thats what ive been told, so cross ur fingers)

just wanted to share with my fellow friends who's still in the dark about the maxis offer...

thnks...

if we're getting from singapore means that singapore and malaysia will share the launching? sounds odd enough...

but im betting it'll come to malaysia middle or end of august 2010...
but if the news about july is true, i might buy this over here...
