Hi peeps,

Don't U all think it's time to stop complaining and discussing when to get our i3GS from Maxis?! Isn't the topic getting a little boring? Plus forummers are having a difficult time to browse this thread because of all the unwanted threads.

I'm on MC for the next 4 days so I'm gonna come in and clear (read: delete) all the posts regarding Maxis collection dates and bla bla bla. Don't say you't not been warned. Post wisely please biggrin.gif

No one has answered ur question because really, we don't have the answer. For now, the dates as released by Maxis to our forummers have indicated 18 August but with all things being Malaysian it's best if we just wait till people start receiving their phones!

Let me clarify things up, based on what I've heard and come across.

New stocks arrive on the 18th. And only reserved those who booked between 15th and 28th of July. So those who booked later than 28th would most likely wait a week or so until Maxis satiates the early prebooked customers. I booked on the 23rd together with a deposit. If I don't find my iPhone available on top of the table on the 28th of August (since I'm coming back to Malaysia on the 27th) by Machines 1U, I will personally slit those pigs' throats.

this morning went to maxis sunway. ask where is my 500MB data.....the fella took my IC, type type on his laptop, go to back room. No.2 - she prints out my eStatement since August 1st and totaled up the data charges. According to her, its 59.xx so she will immediately credit me RM60 (later I came home and did my own calculation - found total to be RM74.28
No.3 - ask me to speak to their data consultant who told me to turn off PUSH and set Fetch to Manual
9 days and still my Free Data not turn on and counting...... mad.gif  vmad.gif

i have the same case with you, purchase on 1st Aug also... apparently on 1st August their system went down, and till now they cant even solve such a simple problem... vmad.gif

i am also getting annoyed and frustrated... they are so inefficient in doing such a small matter... called CS so many times and all they can do is do report, nothing else... i gave up on calling them, only waste more money, now I have to waste my time this saturday to go to Maxis Centre KLCC again...

if on saturday they going tell me to wait again... i really going to explode and tell them i have wait enough, gave them so many days and produce no result, what for i place my trust in them again....

I booked mine during the promo event they had at TheCurve. That event is done by Maxis TTDI. So my collection location is TTDI. Booked and paid in 18 July, if I remember correctly.

Yah..maybe those who haven't take your pre-booked phone, make sure your name is listed under the 18 Aug re-stock recipient list. I did a call to Maxis general line a week back and the operator naturally didn't know about this shortage issue. She "said" she called TTDI to check and that this TTDI already noted my name in their list and will contact me when new stock arrive.

So, I guess everyone who pre-booked should make sure of them listed to avoid not getting the phone again.

Well done maxis.. you finally activate my free 500MB data for my Hotlink after a whole week of delay, and now you create another problem for me, charging me RM98 for a Monthly(3GB) Passes.... which I didnt subscribe to it at all

Anyone know what this Monthly 3GB Passes is??? No info could be found on Maxis website. I receive a SMS this morning saying i have successfully purchases the passes and it just deducted my account for RM98

and again i did the same by calling CS... all they can do is again make report...

Haha i got the same sms also BUT mine says that my request to purchase monthly 3gb pass is unsuccessful.
I din apply it at 1st place...

probably the purchase fails because u dont have sufficient credit inside... well i have... and they just deduct my credit like that...

looks like my trip to Maxis Centre KLCC is unavoidable...

Just ignore that message. I think is their setting problem. I got this message too when they activate the free 500mb data. So far nothing goes wrong to my account, no deduction of that rm98. FYI I m using prepaid plan.

@swee5420 well i cant just ignore it... they have deducted my account...

@janson i purchased on Maxis Centre KLCC at 1st August

i also donno what "Monthly Pass" is this, how come they can just "sell" you something without getting your permission...

i used to believe TM has be worst CS, now i think Maxis CS were not as good as i believed either... there not much things they can do, just help you make a report, sometimes explaining your situation to them need a lot of effort, tell them this and that they don't seem to understand anything you just told them... shakehead.gif

maybe you should try to emphasize on when can you actually get a proper answer, when you call up maxis CS. So that you could call them back if you did not receive any response from them on the time stated.

Because usually CS will just ask you to wait and wait, but by providing them some direction and time limitation, they might just speed things up.

last week i went to Switch(Gurney), they told me i can order i3Gs with using Hotlink plan, but just now i went to Maxis center they told me the offer is over, its only available for first batch online booking -.-
