this morning went to maxis sunway. ask where is my 500MB data.....the fella took my IC, type type on his laptop, go to back room. I sit there for half an hour then he give me a piece of paper with a report number. Immediately I told him this is not acceptable and I want to see your manager. I didnt come here to make a report. I already reported this several times and I want something to be done.
asst. manager took me to a meeting room (maybe scare I scream at her). explain that something went wrong and many ppl who bought on July 24th got this problem. I said what July 24th? 3Gs not even out yet on July 24th! I told her I got mine on Aug 1st. She says oh you not bought the 8GB 3G iPhone? I said no, mine is 16GB 3Gs duh! I told her I got 3 complains -
1. where is my free data?
2. who is gonna pay for the data that was used since Aug 1st?
3. why is my iPhone connecting and incurring data charges when I didnt use it to surf and do online things?

No.1 - ask me to wait, she will ask Hotlink dept to expedite turning on my free data (more BS)
No.2 - she prints out my eStatement since August 1st and totaled up the data charges. According to her, its 59.xx so she will immediately credit me RM60 (later I came home and did my own calculation - found total to be RM74.28
No.3 - ask me to speak to their data consultant who told me to turn off PUSH and set Fetch to Manual
9 days and still my Free Data not turn on and counting......

Bro, i think the report is important for you to get back the money u 'accidently' spent. When i called Maxis CS, the guy helped me to lodge a report and claim back my balance. anyway i have tried step 3 and no worries, it really works, besides your battery wont drain very fast. try use wifi whenever possible.
