just got my albino hedgie today from nethelp!
his name is Noodles. was so surprised when he did not curl into a ball after i first picked him up. he started climbing all over me instead. but he did bite me. but he hisses and jumps whenever i try to touch him. but i guess it's normal. NO BALL SO FAR! staying up all night just watching him run around. ohai dar. |

QUOTE(shukri77 @ Jul 1 2011, 08:36 PM) here the pictures, pls comment... tqvm. Honestly, you cage is too small for the hedgehog. They need at least 2 square feet (2 feet x 1 feet) of space.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The flooring isn't quite suitable, in my opinion, because it has 'holes'. Get a bigger cage so your hedgie can move around more. And take out the toilet floor mat from the cage. Shred some newspaper and toilet paper to use as the bedding instead. |

QUOTE(ix3Rukia @ Jul 2 2011, 11:54 PM) ^ wont it poop and pee and yeah.. hard to clean?? Sure, he/she'll definitely poop and pee but I can just wipe it off with a tissue paper. anyone have 2nd hand storage box i can buy?? my hedgie home too small. i always release it so it can exercise but whenever it goes under the sofa.. yeah... problem. last time , when i let him walk he will poop everywhere. at least now he wont poop No need to dig through wood shavings, looking for dried up poop. I placed a clear piece of plastic on the floor so it's easy to just clean the plastic sheet before putting it back in every week or so to maintain a relatively clean environment. |
