They're not such popular pets.
So far, I only know of 3 vets that are known to look at hedgehogs and their contacts are found in the vet list here on LYN.

The vet tat i called up dont even know wat is a hedgehog, i said hedgehog 5 times n has 2 translate in mandarin so tat he could understand...... i gt the list form lYN 2...

Ahahaha. I've had a similar situation.
I wanted to buy RC36 at this pet store.
I explained that I don't want a big bag because I'm feeding them to a hedgehog.

When the store assistant didn't know what it was, I struggled to explain it. I said, "It's like a mouse? But with spikes on the back.".

Then another assistant said that it's called a 'landak' in Malay. (I thought that's a porcupine but in Malay, it's the same!)

im tired , my hedgie still dont wanna eat mealies

haiya, dun b tired, nt all hedgie likes mealies, its their own personality...

it's ok if it didn't want to eat mealies. Just stick to its normal diet. Mealies is for treat only, not as staple food.

she onli eat cat food - - i sked not enuf other suppliments

if you're afraid that she didnt get enough nutrients, maybe you should buy multivits for her.
before, my boy didn't like RC36 after I changed the kibbles. He rather starved himself for few days.
Then I bought LC-VIT Forte syrup from petshack. It contain Multivits & Lysine (help to increase appetite & reduce stress)
Just simply add 5 drops into his water & within few days, his appetite has increased & he consumes RC36 (and he's an ultimate mealies chomper! - Love to hear him eating the mealise xD )

Maybe she's stress, after all she need some time to adapt the new environment.

Hello to all hedgehog slaves. Please teach me if I wrong. I just have my Hedgehog today. For the moment i use a cage and I put the plastic toilet mat on its base. I put newspaper at the bottom of the food bowl and water bowl. Someone here using the setup like that? Tq...

Yes, those are safe for hedgehogs. Just avoid tea tree oil.
