I can say that Asus royal club at Imbi Plaza has the worst service ever and the asus laptop i'm having now is giving me a lot of trouble. I had my first problem with my laptop few weeks ago. I went there for service and after that i got back my laptop. After i reached home, i can't on it!! And now another problem. I seriously feel like throwing that fking laptop down from 20th floor. Each time i go there for service, there will be another problem when i reach home. KL is so jam and I've been travelling up and down from PJ for so many times just to send for service at Asus Royal Club. I'm so pissed off and i'm so not gonna buy any asus laptop anymore. It's just giving me alot of trouble!!

Well you can't blame them, it's their technician that is not efficient enough..always send to the shop that you bought (an advice from TS) since it tend to speed up the process sorry to hear bout that though. what was the issue at first when you send your unit to rma?

1. where to get the HDD bay to replace the internal optical rom? i saw got ppl replace his F8vr's optical rom to HDD with HDD bay....

yay! ATI mobility drivers without the need for mobility modder. I am currently using this 10.3 and works well so far. Tested on NFS Shift and Dragon Ago, SF IV. Asus support page drivers are dated Sept 2009.

Hi guys. My laptop comes preinstalled with windows 7. I've been having this annoying 'no internet access' problem where i can hardly connect to any wireless network. Sometimes i can get access but it still shows 'no internet access' with the yellow exclamation mark. Any ideas? Thanks.

i think i have installed all the relevant codecs already..I installed media player classic and qvod player..is it sufficient? or is it because of ATI driver? i have installed ATI Catalyst 10.3.

my fren hav a Asus A8 series, gpu is 8400M G, yesterday bluescreen showing that is gpu failure, after that laptop cannot start.

as i know, there is issue regarding to some nvidia mobo, do asus still cover the nVidia issue for FOC mobo replacement ?

Another problem with my laptop. This is really a rubbish brand. So far i have 5 problems with my laptop already and it's only few months. Adapter just die off for the 2nd time for no reason. Really angry. Cheap quality cheap brand but they sell it extra expensive compare to others like dell, etc. Some more tell us we are no.1 in quality and service, its all bullshit. Not gonna buy Asus laptop anymore.

have u checked thru wat's causing the adapter to die??? a power surge could be culprit...

been using my laptop to fold 24/7 (aka 100% CPU load and 100% GPU load), no problem at all...

Terrible service from the Asus Royal Club at Imbi Plaza. Bought an n51vf in August at the PCfair. Had a problem with it (motherboard according to the worker) and sent it for repair on the 10th of February. Was told I would get it back around 2 weeks later. I called them 2 weeks later, and they told me they would get it back to me that week itself, or early next week. Now its the 4th of March, and after furiously calling them again and complaining, they told me that it would be fixed in the middle of March now. What should I do? :S
