mine currently running at 40-41C, so any 14'' model that has idle temp around there?

if you plan to not using the battery for long time, its better to keep it around 40-50%
keeping it on 0% or 100% would just make it worse.

battery whether you use it or not use it, it wil also drop, since it came out from manufacture, it wil start dropping, only difference is how fast it wear down.

defrag time is depends on how big your hdd and how much file in it and how much defragmentation~
