hello people. am being quite noobish now, but because my brother is in adelaide and he is accusing me of saying 3GS is NOT SOLD unlocked in Apple Stores. Can someone clarify this to me?

Do U not think Maxis will hype up the launch of the iPhone 3G S?! I seriously doubt it's going to be 9th Jul but it'll be good if it is.

It's better to believe it coming from Maxis than from Apple since Maxis is the distributor here I'll like to know its pricing though

Yes. I noticed tht too. And if you got 2 msg at the same time, the push notification alert will disappear and the badge number just increase. You wont get any alert msg for subsequent msg. Damn. Beejive getting worst.

Perhaps this way, it helps conserve battery? *shrugs* Speaking of which, assuming if another push message comes, does it even give U a sound notification or the badge number just increases?

From what I see @ Garage Sales, it sure seems as if quite a number of AU units have reached our Msian shores.

the push notification is functioning in a "cacat" way. sometimes it get push sometimes not until i go into the Beejive app to initiate an active chat.

U'll get another alert msg only if u clear off the chat history. else only sound notification and badge number alert.

but frankly i cant see the logic it helps in conserving the battery. after all, u'll still get the sound notification and badge number alert (which is equivalent to pushing the msg to ur phone).

this way, we'll easily miss out a msg if we never look through the app's icon, or we cant remember the badge number count. i just dun like this.

it only state release date for malaysia is 9th July..... i doubt maxis will launch it on 9th July. coz maxis should have come out d pre-order and plan rate for it by now......(my opinion)

IM+ 3.1 still crashes on me alot, sigh, every now then it crashes and all the chat windows that I was participating all lost. guess still alot of teething issues with 3.0 FW.

Difficulty in logging onto account?! Now that's weird cause I don't have that problem though the rest are similar issues; could it be due to insufficient RAM as highlighted by some of the other forummers?

3G S still not in hand as of now; will be collecting it during lunch time but opening ceremony is scheduled for 4PM

thr is no match at all...the amt of ram, da processing speed...no words 2 describe..
da gps locks within sheer seconds...
im sure all da new owners wud agree with this...

and i cant agree more to tink's statement too..but ya, it'll take sm time, sm heavy load apps n all that,, then maybe it wud start to show sm wear n tear...
otherwise these old apps cant make it sweat a drop..

Now the thing I'm curious to know is how well is it gonna perform for turn-by-turn apps. Apparently my 3G is horrible at it. Perhaps it wasn't built with turn-by-turn in mind.

im also curious 2 find tat out..but im awaiting tom tom's app and then decide 2 get a turn by turn app...
