the push notification is functioning in a "cacat" way. sometimes it get push sometimes not until i go into the Beejive app to initiate an active chat.
U'll get another alert msg only if u clear off the chat history. else only sound notification and badge number alert.
but frankly i cant see the logic it helps in conserving the battery. after all, u'll still get the sound notification and badge number alert (which is equivalent to pushing the msg to ur phone).
this way, we'll easily miss out a msg if we never look through the app's icon, or we cant remember the badge number count. i just dun like this.
